Walmart Auto Care Centers, West Chester Township OH

Arrived first thing for two tires. Only one guy working on tires. Auto manager walking around doing nothing. After 2hrs they pulled my car in and it sat for 45 minutes. Then they pulled it back out to work on a customer that had an appointment. After 3 hours they still hadn't work on car, and were telling every new customer 3-4 hrs. This is by far the worst managed Walmart. Tried contacting the store manager, they are NEVER available which explains the lack of management.

This location was flexible fitting me in with my bad battery. I couldn't turn off the car since it wouldn't restart so Susan said to leave it running in the parking area and she would pull it into an empty spot in the garage for me while waiting for it to be serviced. Susan was very quick with her response and knowledgeable, and the service they did included cleaning up the corrosion from the old battery so I was happy with the service I got, especially since this location was very busy being the only Walmart location open in the area.

Went out today to a dead battery. Had it jumped and drove to Walmart to get a new battery. I was told they did not have time to do it today even though I know it only takes five minutes to change a battery. I would think as a courtesy to their customers something it took so little time could have been done. Ended up buying the battery and installing it myself and guess what it took five minutes

I knew it. I called, and they said they were open til 6. I get here at 5, and the guy says they closed at 4. Lack of staff. He says for a rotate and balance, I need to be here at 8 am.

I waited 15 mins on hold just for them to tell me there was a 3-4 hour wait. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Rudest, most slipshod automotive center ever. I had a road hazard warranty replacement. When I called to order the tire, the guy on the phone tried to convince to accept a snow tire instead. A snow tire? It's August. I arrived to have the tire mounted yesterday at 4: 15. They close at six. It took them 15 minutes to locate my tire, and then told me that stop taking orders at 4: 30 because they want to finish on time. In a three-bay shop, two bays were open and two mechanics were sitting outside smoking. Told me to show up today when the shop opens at 8.

The door was locked. Walked to the other side of the building, back to automotive and was told by the counter person they don't open till 10. She walked off without another word, as if I didn't exist. Never buying tires from Walmart again. They have no respect for anyone's time, behave rudely and give wrong info about their hours as if it doesn't matter.

Horrible. $200 for one tire and a scratched rim.they refused to do a price match for a tire that was $106 on their website. Will not be going back to Walmart for car care. The employees however were friendly.

This auto service location service center is the best that I've been to in multiple states.
They were professional, worked really fast, and I can't say enough great things about the staff and the manager of this auto center! Other Walmart auto centers should take heed.

We came, We Shopped, and We ate while waiting on a Oil Change. Took about 45 minutes, however we do not know when they were finished. We were never called and told our service was complete. We were satisfied!

I bought tires here a while ago so I take my car here to get the tires rotated while I shop. Quick, easy, friendly. No fuss because they check out all my purchases when I pick up my car.

Great staff. I cannot remember his name but he looked like Steve Urkel is fantastic. Great customer service compared to other Walmart Auto Centers.

The walmart automotive techs are helpful, courteous, and professional. They answered all my questions, provide me with the answers and went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. I have been back to have my oil chabged, and tires rotated, and have always found their work above board, and exceptionally priced. If you've had a bad experience in the past, maybe it's time to give tgem another try.

Be forewarned, do not have your tires changed or rotated here. These guys have are apparently very poorly trained. They broke two studs on one wheel and crossed a third. I had to go elsewhere to get those replaced. And after a few months I was checking the brake pads today, found another stud crossed and one broken off (apparently over tightened) on another wheel and realized that they didn't even put my original nuts back on in 5 or 6 places. These nuts had a shoulder and rubber washer to hold the wheel cover snug. They replaced them with some other nuts they found in their shop. Such incompetence!

I purchased a car battery from Walmart in January and the battery is dead already. I called the number for the automotive department and the line rang for over a minute and a half before someone picked up with a very fast and quick winded greeting that I was not able to make out. I asked if I was connected to the automotive department and had to be transferred. When the person picked up they did say automotive and I explained what my situation was and that I wanted to bring the car in to see if they could check it and the lady then transferred me to someone else. Once I explained to the next person why I was calling they said that I could bring in the car and they would check it no problem. I explained that I am bringing the car in on my lunch and if I am not able to have an appointment what is a better time that they seem to be not as busy as I do not have a ton of time on my lunch. She said they are busy all the time with no further explanation. This whole experience has left a very bad taste in my mouth as far as Walmart automotive is concerned. I have spent over $126 on a battery that does not work and I have absolutley ZERO help over the phone with Walmart associates, and they are rude to boot.
The only saving grace about this whole situation is Paul at the West Chester location on Cincinnati-Dayton Rd. He was an absolute delight when I took the aforementioned battery in. He was super busy behind the counter with a few people in line and the phone ringing incessantly. He was not frazzled by the situation and even had a very polite and calming demeanor when handling the phone calls and customers at the counter. Thank you Paul!
