Walmart Vision & Glasses, Fairlawn OH

Definitely pleasantly surprised by my experience here! Called on Friday and they had an opening on Saturday which I couldn’t believe. I went expecting not a great experience based on these reviews and seriously was impressed the whole way through. It was my first time going here and they got me processed quickly even with all the covid hupla. The young blonde girl who did my tests in the beginning was training another coworker which I didn’t mind at all. She was explaining everything to her and letting her do it instead of just telling her which I thought was great. The dr was so knowledgeable and just very educated and UPFRONT! I normally go to a really high end vision center close by but wasn’t able to get an appointment quickly so I went her and to be honest, I’ll most likely continue to go here just because this experience was so awesome! Thank you ladies! You were great!

Dr. Cynthia Drenth is meticulous and willing to help. In one year I had extreme vision changes and was blown off by two optometrists (two visits on each one even) who didn’t believe me. She did a thorough evaluation and at first, honestly, started to feel like she was going to be the third. Being the location was at a Walmart I didn’t have high expectations this time around. She tried her best, and even gave me a dual PD to be as precise as she could and told me to come back if I wasn’t happy with my lenses. I still couldn’t see out of my one eye well that I’ve been complaining about the entire time and went back. She was the first person to believe me and sent me to see a specialist, where I was diagnosed with keratoconus. If it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t be in the process of getting my CXL procedure done to save my eyesight. So thanks for everything!

Additionally the rest of the staff feeds off this helpful atmosphere. They are quick to help you, answer questions, and provide that customer experience with a smile and positive attitude that makes you want to come back. Even on the phone they take their time to help you and don’t rush you off. They feel like they genuinely want to help you. It’s unfortunate that with my condition I won’t be able to see a normal optometrist again, because I definitely would be back.

We had a great experience! They took the to time to talk to us and remember us even when not in the office.

I have always had a good experience here and I have been going for years as well as my kids! The Dr.is great and she cares about your eye health. I love the selection and the prices for exam, frames, and contacts are reasonable.

Dr Cynthia Drenth is amazing caring and compassionate! She truly cares for her patients! I would never go anywhere else! I have watched her children grow up on her walls! Best eye Dr ever! Always going that extra mile to make sure I am happy w my contacts! Brad is also wonderful and helpful!

Dr. Sigmund is the truth! I was supposed to write a review after my visit but she hooked me up and I've been too busy seeing LIFE! I left here and went elsewhere to crappy results, on my return Dr. Sigmund remembered me and we picked right up right where we left off! She's an angel in my eyes!

Stopped in to look at the possibility of getting a pair of prescription sunglasses. Was quickly waited on by a very friendly and knowledgeable staff that listened to what I was trying to achieve and paid attention to what would work for my fit, size and how they would be used. They took the time to walk me through the process of selecting the lens color all the while being genuinely helpful. Thank You!

This place never has their stuff together. The women seem to be very catty and rude; the men, on the other hand, are helpful. They have ordered me the incorrect contacts, lost my prescription several times and can never give me proper information.

I have tried to patronize this vision center for a couple years. Every single time there is always an issue of poor customer service.

I went in for my exam and waited a little over an hour to see Dr. Sigmund. She apologized for the wait and explained that she doesn't rush any of her patients and sometimes gets behind. I never felt rushed by her and she gave the impression that she truly enjoys her job. When I came back for a follow up the staff was slow in starting to help me, but they were also doing other tasks. I waited 10 minutes and saw Dr. Sigmund. Her staff called my insurance and got them to cover the cost of my glasses since my prescription had tripled. When I went back to pick up my glasses they were prompt and helpful. Each experience has been slightly different but I am happy with the overall outcome. James is especially kind and patient. He took his time teaching me how to put in my new contacts and helping with my glasses.

Very bad customer sevice. The Optometry is very rude and she dress lile she out at a club. I needed a print out of my prescription for my glasses I had ordered my contacts from them and she said she gave me one which, i never received considering i had planned on going back to order my glasses but the service is so horrible I decided to take my prescription else where. They either need to take glasses on customer service or hire someone else. RUDE AND HORRIBLE SERVICE! I will not return!

They are so kind, professional and helpful here. Everyone I met from start to finish. I recommend them highly. I had an eye exam and replaced lenses.

Doctor and staff are very unprofessional. Everyone moves in slow motion. I will never go back there again. I have told my family and friends not to waste their time or money. If that Doctor's office was not inside Walmart they would not have, half the customers they do. That Walmart Vision Center is a joke!

I love this vision center. All the associates are very helpful. James in particular is a great person! The doctor is kind and accurate. I will continue to go here from now on! Great job guys!

I was there today a little after 4. I got my glasses there ealier this year and they broke. I took them in and they were fixed right up with a smile and a great attitude. Very helpful.
