They never answer any of my calls. They aren't very helpful either. Very disappointed. I need contacts but how am I supposed to get any when they don't answer my calls? !

UPDATE: after canceling the appointment and telling them I would not be back LAST YEAR, the vision center has STILL continued to call and leave rather nasty voicemails, demanding to know "when you're coming to get these freaking glasses that have been here forever. " It doesn't matter how many times I told them I'm not coming back. I actually wound up having to block the number due to the constant harassment.

The first time we went (took another person to their appointment) the doctor was over an hour late. I don't mean an hour behind, I mean he didn't even show up into the office until he was well past an hour late for numerous appointments. I figured that would be a one-off and maybe there was a traffic incident (he never gave a reason) so I didn't think much of it. A little unprofessional, but not a deal breaker. I went ahead and scheduled myself an appointment, and after my exam I was told I needed a slight prescription for ONE eye (important later) and he said I was already fitted for contacts (they didn't measure the curvature of my eye as far as I know) and gave me some contacts. The contacts fit for about 10 minutes and then didn't fit anymore, started drifting around my eye and becoming uncomfortable. And apparently they don't do pupil distance with the little machines anymore, they just take a photo of you with a tablet camera and somehow that's supposed to do it. The tablet and camera were extremely problematic and kept drifting and messing up, but I was told they had to use that because they were under an audit. I don't know if that was the disconnect or if the lab made a mistake, or if the doctor measured my eyes wrong, but as a result my glasses were not the correct prescription. I put them on and my vision became super blurry in BOTH eyes and my eyes kept trying to cross and I got a headache almost instantly. I let the lady at the counter know that these were not correct, and when she was asked if they could measure the lenses in office, she said they were triple checked already and refused. She also tried to say that nobody can see out of their glasses. Yes, she said that no one can see out of glasses. Which is kind of the whole POINT of glasses. When I pointed out that maybe I couldn't see out of them because they were filthy (covered in dirt and smudges), she made some smart aleck comment about it just being "case dust" and rolled her eyes and took them into the back room to clean them. She brought them back still with fingerprints on the lenses, and I still couldn't see out of them (they were still filthy and obviously the wrong prescription). She then began to argue with me about my prescription contacts being just fine. I explained to her I didn't have prescription contacts, I was given a pair of Planos with zero prescription, which still didn't fit my eye properly. She argued that I had a contact lens prescription written down on my paperwork, and I again had to explain I was given sample contacts, NOT a filled prescription, that the only filled prescription was supposed to be for the glasses that I could not see out of. She was very rude and told me I would just need to schedule another appointment with the doctor, but I wound up canceling it thanks to her attitude and the unprofessionalism of the office as a whole. I'll go to a REAL doctor next time.

Neither myself, my mother, nor my husband can see through the glasses we got through the vision center at Walmart. We brought them back in with that complaint and were told to wear them anyway. That was not an option. Between us three, the cost was over $1,000. I'll never go back and won't recommend them to anyone. And I'd have given them NO STARS, but this review page won't permit a post without a star selected.
