Wat Da Pho reviews
20 I simply can't get enough!
This restaurant successfully satisfies my craving for pho every visit. Don't feel discouraged to try other dishes as they are equally delicious. The portions are perfect for the price and comes out fairly quickly.
The atmosphere is simple, inviting, and clean.
Recommendation: Pork BBQ Buns - Banh Bao Kep.
- This appetizer makes your mouth water. The flavor tastes fresh and the meat is tender. You'll want to learn how to make them yourself.
Went here to try Vietnamese food for the first time and my whole experience was great except for the pho itself. I was satisfied with the portion size as it filled me up for sure. I just wasn't impressed with the pho flavor; it tasted like a bland chicken noodle soup with rice noodles instead of regular noodles. I did; however, get another entree (vermicelli noodle salad with Mongolian grilled beef) which was delicious! I'll definitely come back for that or any of the other good looking options. The staff were friendly and the food came out impressively fast too.
We've been going to Wat da Pho since they opened and it's always a good experience! The food is great, and the staff is very efficient and friendly. Highly recommend N3 on the menu!
Came for the pho, and I was not.unimpressed. This pho was good. Service was good, and waiters were wonderful.
We moved here from Arizona and have been on the hunt for our new Pho spot. This is it. One and done. No need to look any further. Delicious food, great atmosphere and friendly service. P4 and spring rolls. My tummy is full and happy. Had to give this review before we even left!
We will be back soon!
This place has amazing Pho! As someone visiting from out of state (california) I have to say that this is some of the best Pho I've ever had! The prices are great, the service is VERY fast, and everyone was extremely nice. We had takeout but the restaurant atmosphere is very nice and relaxing. We also had the garlic lo mein noodles, and the banh mi and both were fantastic! Super glad that we stumbled upon this place and could not be happier with it!
Amazing food. Best Pho i’ve ever had! I ordered:
S2- BBQ PORK
P1- Just Pho with Steak
Best pho in the Dayton area! We live about 35 minutes away, but we don't mind making the trip! We always get it to go and when we get home, it's still PIPING hot! I'm not even sure what they do to make it stay warm, but whatever it is, it's working! They've never gotten our order wrong, and they are always very quick!
Tofu pad Thai was amazing! Tofu was perfectly cooked, although it wasn't spicy enough for my taste. Service was struggling, it was the lunch rush. The struggling service led to a payment snafu, but the manager made it right. The atmosphere is cool, but the lobby has zero acoustics so it can be very loud in the there. Would love to eat here again.
Best pho and Bahn mi in town. Boba tea is respectable as well. They offer some solid vegetarian options also which is nice. My only complaint is they don't have a south Dayton location.
My first time going here I liked it
This time our food portion is not the same
Or as good as the first time don't think ill be back
Lisa is a great and friendly server. I knew her since 2011 when I first moved to Ohio… very kind and heartwarming. Definitely happy to see her again!
It is a nice and clean place in a style pretty typical of a fusion restaurant. The staff is good and thr service has been fast every time that I've been there. They get a lot of customers from Wright-Patterson thanks to the proximity and having a 10% military discount. (At least at the time of this writing). They have solid vegan and vegetarian options across the menu.
Food is full of flavor and delicious. We tried the bahn mi, vermicelli noodles with egg rolls and fried rice and boba tea of course. I'm sure the pho is excellent too since most everyone there had that. There are also a lot of vegan options which is great. Employees are also very nice and helpful. Love the modern look on the inside too. You can tell a lot of thought was put into every part of the restaurant. I highly recommend wat da pho. Yum!
Nice place, but overall food is just okay. Nothing spectacular. Price is on the high side for the quality and quantity.
Prefer and miss the pho back home!
Not terribly impressed. I went there for lunch and placed my order. I sat there for over 45 minutes watching other parties walk in, place their order, get their food, eat their food, get up and leave. I never got my order the whole time. Since I had to return to work, I just simply left. I can say that it smelled really good. But I couldn't say if the food tasted good or not. I don't think I'll be headed back anytime soon.
I went there for lunch; my first time there. It was busy for the lunch rush.
The bbq pork sandwich appetizer was flavorful. It seemed like cilantro was just thrown in there as a garnish or afterthought.
Ordered the vietnamese coffee - it wasn't as strong as I expected.
I also ordered the thai milk tea, which was delicious.
The last thing I ordered was the banh mi sandwich - the 1st option. It was really good, and the bread is perfect.
I plan to go back to try the pho!
Update July 31,2022
Their chicken pho is good. I have since tried their authentic spicy lemongrass pho and that is amazing. Spicy enough to add flavor and make you sweat, but not overwhelmingly spicy. Also, my boyfriend loves their popping boba in different flavors. For the prices, their food is still worth it.
*Update: thank you again Ms. Quinn for the larger rice:) you are the star of the show *Very clean, very efficient, and very good! Flavoring is relatively authentic, brought back memories of being in Asia. Staff are young and hip, generally a younger crowd, although many families seen as well. We've been coming here since opening and it had been consistently good. Thanks to Mr. Win and Ms. Quinn for their stellar service.
Had a good dine in experience here. Wooden chairs and benches are available for seating. Orders taken at the table & they have a large menu with lots of yummy things to choose from, including vegetarian and traditional options.
Went for lunch today and I'm relatively sure the server forgot to put our order in. We sat for 45 minutes without our food or the drink I ordered while people that arrived easily 20 minutes after us have eaten and gone. 3 tables received their food before I even got my drink.
