Wellington Veterinary Clinic

They were awesome, I had to get my baby put to sleep due to his hips giving way and the amount of care the doctor had was beyond words thank you so much for all you did!

We like Wellington Veterinary Clinic. We take our 3 Great Danes there when needed. For the most part, everyone is nice. Our biggest complaint is that they are pretty expensive.

One of our alpacas wasn't eating and was inactive. Dr. Matt was able to come out to our house within a few hours of our call to the Clinic, even though we were new clients. We appreciate the quick response!

Staff was very compassionate and considerate. We had to put down one of our family members and they were able to fit us in and were great. I am going to go back and have them as my primary vet.

The veterinarians and staff here have been taking care of my horses for years. Drs Matt, Imre and Cody are wonderful people, very knowledgeable and caring. I want to particularly thank Dr. Cody for helping me make and carry out the excruciatingly painful decision to put my horse Angel down. Dr. Cody was so gentle, compassionate and respectful of my Angel and of us.

We had a Nigerian Dwarf Goat that stopped eating and was not urinating. I was afraid that it had developed urethra stones. I called at least 5 other vets in the area and they stated they could not help me, nor were they accepting new patients. I contacted Wellington Veterinary Clinic and the receptionist was wonderful. They contacted an on call Doctor and they came to my house within 2 hours to treat my goat. They sedated him and removed one large stone, which saved his life. I cannot thank them enough and I will be taking all of my animals there from this point forward. Thank you!

We have been clients of Wellington Vet for over a decade. We have used them for both large and small animal but most commonly for our horses. We have been exceptionally successful breeding with them as our vets and couldn't be happier.

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Matt, Dr. Imre, and Dr. Cody. They are responsive and always make time to breakdown options and considerations. They are honest about what's needed and what can wait. They are incredibly kind and our horses adore them. The prices are fair and reasonable.

Finally, the front office staff are gems. They remember your pets and ask about them when you call in to make appointments. It is a practice that gives you great care with an "All Creatures Great and Small" vibe. Highly recommend!

I have used Wellington for many many years for my horses up until we had an incident with a farm call. Wellington sent out Dr Matt to our farm for a lame horse. He came and proceeded to start the exam and lunged my horse. Next was supposed to be the x rays that we happily would have paid for but their x ray machine was BROKEN and then we were instructed to call Cleveland Equine because they could not give me any answers or finish 3/4 of the service because of the broken equipment. Dr. Matt told us that we would not be charged for this visit because nothing really happened and we thought that that was very fair. One month later we received a bill in the mail for a service that was not performed. When we called in to try and communicate with the staff, they just told us that there was nothing they could do and that we would have to pay the bill, even though no service was completed. Owning two businesses myself in our area, I would NEVER treat long time clients let alone a client like this. Shameful.

My barn cat was not feeling well, they fit me in between appointments that day. The staff was wonderful!

ABSOLUTELY the BEST! Dr. Cathryne Wittlinger is by far the most caring and compassionate veterinarian. She goes above and beyond to help you and your beloved pets! Thank you so much for all you do, you are truly amazing!

After months of cancer treatment at home and a tough decision, we had to put our 12 year old golden retriever down. With the guidance and reassurance from Wellington Veterinary Clinic we were able make the best decision for him. The biggest take away was that his vet walked us through every second of the process and was emotional right along with us, even though this is part of their job it was very telling in that moment how much they truly care for their patients and families! We will be coming here from now on with our other pets. Thank you for making this process just a little easier for us.

I took my pitbull mix in because she had a tail injury and ended up needing a partial amputation of her tail. I can’t say enough amazing things about the staff and the dr that took amazing care of my baby! The love and compassion they had made me feel so at ease! I’m happy I found a vet that I absolutely love! Diamond is now home and resting!

We can’t thank Dr. Kranz and the staff at Wellington Vet enough! They squeezed us in last minute to see our boy when he became unexpectedly sick over the holiday weekend. Our boy ended up being admitted with a case of acute pancreatitis. Dr. Kranz went in personally over the holiday weekend to monitor our boy and took the time to call us from his personal cell phone to update us every step of the way! Dr. Kranz went above and beyond and his genuine care and compassion for animals shows! We can’t thank him enough for taking care of our boy. We never for a second doubted that our boy was in THE BEST hands.
