Wendy's, Akron OH

I’ve had bad experiences here in the last few years, but I recently moved to the area with this location being the closest Wendy’s. For 6 months I didn’t eat here knowing it wouldn’t be good service, until tonight when I was craving a baconator.

Crew member acted really spiteful in general, but it’s Akron and the economy is horrible so I can’t get too upset when I’m also irritable most of the time these days.

But the baconator I got had 1 patty. Unless I’m going crazy and it was never a double cheeseburger. I don’t like spending $10 on a single patty burger. But with the line moving at 1 car every 5 minutes. It wasn’t worth circling back to correct it.

Hopefully someone gets this location straightened out. It’s on one of the busiest roads in the area. Wish it provided better service. Life sucks for all lower-middle class workers. And after working two 18 hour shifts in two days. I really just wanted my order to be right. I act polite and not entitled in hopes people return the favor. Can this locations staff stop acting like they’re the only people that have it bad in life. Go work somewhere else if you don’t want to at least try to do the job. Idk hate sounding like a Karen, but I don’t care what kind of attitude you have if I get the food I paid for. But attitude and wrong orders? Can we step it up a little bit?

Ordered online. Got there and the lobby was closed. Had to wait in long drive through line. Got wrong food.

Never ever a good experience at this location. But today was the worst. Rude rude rude for literally no reason at all.

I was disappointed due to the fact that their Dining area was closed. But the service and food is always Wonderful.

Lazy workers, ordered my food online so I can pick it up. We came up and they told us they were closed (they don’t close until 12 it wasn’t even 11!). Tried calling them on the phone & they didn’t answer and would not come back to the window. They refused a refund. Manager said “nope” avoid at all cost. Had to issue a refund with my card.

Absolutely terrible. They have serious staff problems and the service is awful. Food is always incorrect and it takes 15-20 minutes just to make it through the drive thru. The guy running the window is incompetent and very rude. Avoid this location at all costs.

Horrible staff. Do not go here after 10pm. Supposed to be open until 12 for the drive through. I went, no one answered at the drive thru menu. Pulled up to the window, the worker was sitting at the front on her phone not taking anyone's orders.

They took forever to make my order. When I got home, the order was wrong.

Last two or three times I've been here I've gotten really old and burnt fries. The burgers were great. But the fries were burnt. And I worked fast food for 7 years. I know old fries when I see them. These were definitely beyond the time allowed to serve.

If you like French fries, don't go to the Wendy's on S. Arlington. They couldn't fry French fries even if their lives depended on it. Just simply the worst fries I've had in a long time. And it's not just a one time thing it's every time I order fries from the Wendys on S. Arlington rd. On the Green auto-mile. The burgers are hit and miss also. So, just a heads up.

Terrible location

Girl up front and her shirt pulled up so her stomach was hanging out while working.
The floor was a sticky mess.
When I finally got the correct order it was cold and had 1 tiny piece of lettuce on it instead of the correct amount

Seems like they can't learn to make orders if you ask for it to be made without mayonnaise.

I am so thankful for the late night staff working this evening. My fiancé and I had a rough day at the hospital saying our goodbyes to his mother who is in hospice. I was starving when we arrived at the drive thru. First of all young man who took my order was super nice to me. Secondly the young man who made my grilled chicken wrap stuffed my wrap with perfectly warm chicken, extra lettuce like I requested, and just the right amount of ranch and cheese. The wrap was FAT in my opinion and so filling. Compared to the other times I’ve ordered the same wrap at other locations this was by far the best out of all of them. The young man who made my wrap even waited by the drive thru to see me take my first bite and giggled at how satisfied I was. I gave him a thumbs up and told him how good it was not realizing he was standing right there. He took pride in making my order and that makes me so impressed it’s hard to find that these days in fast food places. I give this location an A+. They really made my day so much better and they should know it and be recognized for it. Thanks boys!

Ordered the 4 for 5. Double stack. Received spicy nuggets even though i didn't ask for them. Got a bacon double stack even though I didn't ask for that. No condiments on the burger. Fries were cold.

I ordered 2 junior hamburgers with mustard, lettuce and onion. The cashier asked me twice what I wanted on them. I received 2 junior hamburgers with lettuce and tomato. Can they hire anyone with an IQ of more than 10? Apparently not!

The worker at the register was very unfriendly. There was soda spilled all over the floor because the machine was not working properly so you got sticky stuff all over your shoes. Food did not taste that good either.

These people are so rude and illiterate they can’t even bag orders right. Calling the manager didn’t help she was just as rude! Told me she wasn’t giving me corporate number to make a complaint. I’ll never go back to Wendy’s. They should really hire MORE FRIENDLY employees. Nothing but trash works there. They need shut down. Making some calls tomorrow!

Doors never open to dine in and food subpar. Nothing taste good, old wilted lettuce and mushy tomatoes. We have decided to stop going there.

We were bummed with this trip. They forgot to give us sour cream, butter, and honey mustard. My chicken nuggets were dry and my husband's large fry was half full. Unfortunately we've had problems there before.
