West Chester Dental Group reviews
18I scheduled an appointment online. I’m receiving texts with a phone number link to call to cancel or reschedule. I called to cancel and they couldn’t find me in their system. What would have happened if I showed up for the originally scheduled appt? Not a great first impression! It’s great to have online scheduling, but not so great when you have problems like this.
The best dentist /staff I have ever come in contact with. Super professional, nice, and welcoming! I’ll never switch
I am so afraid of all dental stuff.the office staff and dentist really worked with me to help me relax and be comfortable
Went 6 years ago and it was nice, clean and staff was great. Haven't gone to the dentist since then and went back. The staff was very nice. The girl who took my x-rays was very sweet. My hygienist didn't really talk to me. Her only question before she started was how long ago was your last cleaning. I told her since the last time I was here. She said that was 6 years ago.and.so at this moment she decided before stabbing me with her detal tool that I had gingivitis. I was told that they would create my plan to fix my problems before they do a bonding to fix my tooth so I don't bleed. I didnt report any problems other than a broken bonding. I don't have any teeth or gum issues other than receding gums. Never have even had a cavity. She then proceeded to do her measurements and yes when you stab people they bleed. My gums do not bleed when I brush or floss but when stabbed they do. So because I bleed she said I had gingivitis. Didn't talk with me about it just stabbed me and left. I go to the check out to a girl that can't really explain my bill for my supposed "plan " to "fix" my problems.and they had a $100.00 cleaning (insurance covers cleaning) because I need a special cleaning and I'm not allowed to just get a free cleaning that my insurance covers. Then they want $700 for the same bonding I spent $70 on 6 years ago. Or $2,000 for veneer that use to be $700. I asked why such a high prices. She said my insurance doesn't cover veneers (yes they do I checked they cover 50%) and they are now corprate owned and when I went last time they were family owned and she can't change the price. They dental office has carpet lifting, dirty floors, dirty chairs, dirty base boards and charging those prices? Nope not going back. It's been over 12 hours and my gums still hurt from the aggressive measurements taken to make me bleed to say I have something wrong that I don't have just to charge more. I'm never going back, I don't understand how they are booked out far in advance. There's much nicer dentist offices that charge fast less and don't take advantage of people.
Everyone at West Chester Dental Group was so welcoming and explained everything throughout my appointment. Knowing that the dentist isn't everyone's favorite visit, I would definitely recomment WCDG for the whole family.
Great place to have your dentistry work done but when calling in for teeth cleaning seems to be very hard to talk to someone in the office for scheduling. Online scheduling is not for scheduling teeth cleaning.
They didn't do a very good job at all missed soo much glad I got a second opinion from a different dentist
Great staff. This is my go to spot for the last five years. Very knowledgeable on what they do.
Overall my experience was good. My dental hygienist was very good & nice. Not sure about the dentist. He spent less than 5 minutes with me & was gone like a whirlwind. Luckily, I didn’t have a question for him.
Friendly and knowledgeable dentists and staff. This group does not feel like a money making company like some other groups and they don’t pressure for unnecessary services. Been going here for years and even though I moved to Texas I still get me dental work done here when I’m in town.
West Chester Dental Group has been my Dentist for 20 years
The out come has been a 5 star with every person that assist me.
However I may have to change as the cost for cleaning and xrays have been raised more than 90 per cent since Dr Goel
I recently returned to West Chester Dental Group. My hygienist Tess was amazing. Very professional. Not judgmental. Explained everything. Wiped my mouth and provided goggles to prevents splashes. I hope to keep her as my hygienist.
Dr. Manju is extremely professional and nice. Approximately a week after my cleaning I had to have a crown. Dr. Manju explained everything. She was very nice. I struggled with laying back and keeping my mouth open due to a tight mouth and sleep apnea. She allowed me to sit up and take a break. She also constantly suction me which I needed. She was very accommodating and worked really hard. She wasn’t judgmental. I’m happy to have Dr. Manju as my dentist and I hope to keep her.
LJ the admin who I had the pleasure of meeting to check me out was also very professional. She explained everything to me and provided estimates and was able to get me scheduled.
I got really great professionals with them and I highly recommend them.
Quality of service has degraded and the rudeness has increased. I typically go for half yearly appointments except that they are booked till mid next year. The receptionist was rude and least interested to help. I've been going there since 5 years and was appalled by rudeness. They will force extra treatments knowing insurance will not pay. You need to pay or else they won't allow you to checkout.
Everyone at the office is so kind. Dr. Manjula is amazing! I have a fear of going to the dentist, but go for regular 6 month check-ups now because of the wonderful and kind people in this office!
They do a good job, but over the years the personal touch has been lost. Just feel like a number being processed though and collecting payment. I miss having consistency of hygienist, and a doctor spending more than 2 min with me.
It has been over a year since I saw my dentist at this office though I was lead to believe she was there. The past two cleanings took over an hour mainly because the hygienist assumed I didn’t understand the importance of flossing my teeth. I received a flossing and brushing lesson and was made to feel like an idiot, though I have probably been brushing my teeth before they were born! The time between my cleaning visits was 9 months due to vacation & illness, though I was told I was on a cancellation list, I never received a call if a cancellation occurred. My most recent visit, I was told they were going to use the water tool/method for cleaning, all she used and she scrapped the entire visit. This office has been my dentist office for many years and the last two or so years, I have left aggravated and frustrated every visit. Dr. Goel was the best. Since his passing, the office service is less than desirable. Looking for a new dentist office, any suggestions?
Very disappointed. It seemed as if they were more interested in doing more work than required. My 87 yr old mother went for a partial impression for a missing tooth. She had to wait over a week to get it because they had to send her impression to a lab. However, when we showed up at 2nd appointment to pick up the partial, we were told that the lab had broken it and another impression had to be done. The first was painful and her mouth was sore for a couple days after. The second was also painful, and they didn't seem to care. They said to gargle salt water to ease the pain for a couple days AGAIN. I wish we had been informed that the partial had broken BFORE we showed up. They seemed very aloof and callous toward my mother and offered no explanation nor apology.
I have been going to this dental office for at least 15 years (with Dr. Maag and Dr, Goel, who were wonderful) A couple years ago after Dr. Goel, they went corporate. I liked it better before, but I’m still going there. Mostly because I have okay teeth, and I love getting my teeth cleaned by Jonnie. She’s wonderful. And I’ll continue with this practice.
