West Park Family YMCA, Cleveland OH

The rumors are very true all staffs are super friendly and happy they have fun activities and events for the Y members and family most important thing you know the Y is your home and everybody is your family.

Good place to workout with weights. Not too crowded. Nice pool and different workout rooms. Multiple machines for a total workout. Friendly staff always greet you. Made lots of friends too.

I love how the summer sports camp staff, especially Mr William, engaged the kids in fun activities all summer!

Need to close down or change rules. The weight room is literally a box with treadmills. I have a pass where i can bring guest but they can’t play basket or anything. Remodel is definitely needed.

They have been updating the place here. The gym is a good size and the pool is great. Exercise room and workout room are in good shape. My daughter has been attending swim lessons with the best instructor on the freaking planet - Jim! If you want your kids to learn how to swim in under 4 months Jim is your guy! I have put my other kids through swimming lessons costing more money with no results. They also have a program here to train them for lifeguarding if they stay with the youth/adult swim program which my oldest is looking forward to. This YMCA location is the bees knees. It's very community homebound here. Everyone is very nice! Everyone! They are very helpful and it pulls you to come here to exercise, hangout in the gym, working out in the weight room, or even taking a stroll on the treadmill while listening to your phone's playlists, is all the worth here! Just come and see what I see. Still love it!

Hope this will be my first time playing in a basketball league. Can't afford it don't have the money. Trying to come up with it. I've been waiting my whole life for the opportunity to play a game of basketball in a league man I had athlete's foot since I was 6 years old and my parents will never let me play any sportsman I ain't never got to play no sports in my whole entire life I had to play in the penitentiary where they dominated the ball and kept me from the ball man I was a natural point guard man I was like the NBA logo they stole my recreation and they stole my salvation to where I can't even know enjoy going out or anything man and have a drink man they stole all my excitement in my life man I met my life is ruined man!

Everything from the passionate instructors to the sense of community. The West Park YMCA has been a great fit into my lifestyle. Looking forward to growing more and developing.

We've made good friends and we're looking forward to being able to stay active all winter this year!

This Y is very disorganized: some of the showers don't have hot water, and the television on the machines don't work correctly. This is what I call a gotto place.

Very nice environment all staff members very professional and helpful, very clean in appearance, gave a good tour of facilities and equipment knowledge. I signed up for membership. Very excited, can't wait to start.

These guys are amazing Mā’shā’Allāh. Shoutout to Peggy and all the guys man they’re great.

5 stars for the people working there, very nice people, I am grateful. But 1 star for maintenance/feel. The gym is looking bleak.

My experience here and lakewood ymca has been horrid. First I wanna complain about sign in policy. I just started my membership and called both places to see if guest were allowed. Well first they told me yes between 5 to 6 and after 730. Which times were wierd but I continued my day. When I showed up they told me that I couldn't sign in unless it was for the weight room which was completely different from what they first said
well when my guest showed up they changed the whole ordeal that they weren't letting guest sign in. Im disappointed bc I felt profiled which is sad for a location in an urban community. On top of that I coach throughout cleveland and this is the only affordable gym it seems to be open during the pandemic. I expect more from a business that has benefited from the neighborhood and my membership that has the perk of signing people in.

I love group classes for my work out. The instructors are soo friendly, professional and most importantly the West Park YMCA location is very clean. They follow the rules very strictly.

Currently has a worker there working the front desk with Corona and has not been cleared by a doctor, and has been quarantined for just ten days.

I have absolutely loved my experience at the West Park YMCA. While this is an older facility, the staff and service is beyond satisfactory.

I love the location because I'm only minutes away. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The classes are great. The equipment is great. The facility is clean. I recommend this location especially to those that live in the area.

Small but mighty community base organization, that wants to help people better themselves, in spirit, mind or body. Be it your physical ability and healthy, or developing a strong spiritual health or even starting you on your own spiritual journey.

This YMCA location has very friendly staff. They a joy to talk to and very tentative.they offer some good workout programs. It not as bussy as the lakewood location gets. Which is nice.
But, I do wish that they would get a major update and remodel at this location. The building is getting very run down. The roof is leaking in areas. And tile is starting to come off the walls in areas.
The lockerooms are very run down. The heavy weight lifting gym in the basment is very dark and the weight equipment is very old.
It would be very nice to see this location get a new building or much needed face lift. The building was built from 1969. It would be nice to see a new building to be built here.

My first impression upon walking In is that it has a very unclean feel. Other than the treadmills the gym equipment is so old and hard for me to figure out at 62. Pool is freezing. I just had TRKR so I have to work out but if I didn't have to go I wouldn't.
