I am so HAPPY I decided to go here!
For 6 years I’ve been trying to find out what was wrong with one of my eyes that no other place could give any answers.
Dr. Ryan Hooper was determined to get answers for me and he did the same day!
He refused to let me walk out of his office without an answer and I am so very grateful!

I absolutely love having Dr. Hooper as my optometrist. He makes every appointment feel personal, in the best way, and always offers an explanation and additional information of every part of the eye exam. I leave every visit learning something new. The entire staff at his office is kind and welcoming - I look forward to every appointment! I’ve recommended many friends and family members in the Cleveland area to switch to Dr. Hooper and several have (and all are happy with their choice).

Going to Dr Hooper since before pandemic. Never any issues. He's very knowledgeable about all aspects of eye care.
Also love that he had latest and greatest tech last time I went. No more puffs of air on my eyeball for the one test. Much less discomfort!

Dr Hooper was excellent! Just went for a routine exam but honestly one of the more calming visits I’ve had! Haley was great to talk with over the phone to set up my appointment and so welcoming when I came in.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, I needed an eye exam on short notice and they were able to work me in to an earlier appointment after someone cancelled.

Always a great appointment with Dr. Hooper. Such a friendly and inviting staff. They don’t rush through the appointment and allow as much time as you need to pick out glasses. I appreciate the time that they take to discuss insurance benefits and options with you. They also make sure that you are completely satisfied with your fit/prescription lenses before you order. West Side Preventative EyeCare for the win! My daughter and I came in for an exam and we received immediate attention, great care, and stellar customer service. Dr. Hooper provided thoughtful explanations and answered all our questions. We’ll be returning for our future optical needs!

Dr. Hooper and the staff went above and beyond what we could expect. He has created a practice that allows him to spend time with his patients AND hear them out. From getting the appointment with Haley’s help all the way to our time with Dr. Hooper, we didn’t feel like just another patient. He took time with us and our 7-month old. It meant the world to us! We can’t wait to make him our family go-to!

West Side Preventative EyeCare is a wonderful establishment. Dr. Hooper and his team make you feel comfortable and welcome. I was previously fitted for contacts by another eye doctor, always thought they were kind of uncomfortable, but figured that was just the status quo with contacts. That is, until Dr. Hooper took the time to listen to my experience and suggested a different variety of contact lens. Problem immediately solved! This type of personalized attention epitomizes the care Dr. Hooper provides. Highly recommend!
