Westerville Veterinary Clinic

The first time we’ve had to visit Westerville Veterinary Clinic was for after hours ER visit for our 3yr old chocolate lab, and our second visit was also after hours and we had great interactions with the professionals there like Dr Tess who was great and gentle with Deacon in the two after hour visits. The customer service is fabulous, they really make you feel welcomed and show great attention and care to Deacon. We decided to switch Deacon’s primary vet to Westerville Veterinary Clinic and we had an awesome visit with Dr. Horvath who is working with us and OSU to help Deacon with his diet journey along with his joints and kidney issues. It’s a great feeling to be welcomed and have wonderful interactions every time we’ve visited.

My cat decided to swallow a large toy. When I called this clinic, they were able to get me in right away. The emergency vet was very kind, empathetic, and thoughtful. All the staff we interacted with were kind and sweet to my cat even though he was very anxious being at the vet. 10/10 would recommend.

Tonight was one of the scariest nights for me. I’ve never once have had a sick dog and we were in such a rush to find a vet and I am beyond happy that I found this one. I truly thought I was being over dramatic (and maybe I was) but they never made me feel bad about the way I was acting. They were the friendliest and nicest staff. The vet tech even gave Bentley a nail trim when we didn’t even ask! (I know he really needed one lol) The doctor was also amazing and talked through everything very thoroughly. I never thought I got good answers from the vet we normally go to and always feel they are rushed to get us out. This vet was AMAZING. You guys put my mind at ease. Shoutout to everyone working at that vet tonight. I appreciate everything and thank you for taking such good care of my baby, Bentley. I hope you guys get to meet my happy, silly, normal Bentley once he’s feeling better. Thank you guys.

Lacking integrity and professionalism. Do your due diligence before entrusting your loved ones to their care. So many new hires who haven’t been properly trained, apparently. Manager didn’t have the decency to address my concerns directly (as a result of misinformation) and failed to honor their agreement. I’m sure there are better institutions for your family.

If you’re so arrogant as to blast me for your deserved one star review without any attempt of investigation or follow up to form an educated or thoughtful response or gosh the slightest inquiry - even a possible apology - an actual patient whom you can contact directly, then you’re no better.

Wonderful staff, great vets. They treat our pets and the owners like family. Our dog had surgery for cancerous growth, Great care, even had to take him to clinic at 1 am night after surgery as he was crying in pain. Vet & tech met me and were very helpful. Premium plan saved us over $1000 on surgery. It has paid for itself multiple times over through the years we have been enrolled. Location very convenient to our home.

We brought our dog Carl here after he got into the trash and started to display some concerning tummy symptoms. It was late at night, we were stressed and anxious, and we weren't sure what to do because our usual vet was closed. My husband called and immediately had a great experience with the person who answered the phone — it was so reassuring to talk to someone who was eager to help. Our experience once we arrived was more of the same. Everyone was so kind and patient with us, Dr. Hoppe was great, our dog received speedy care, I was emailed a full overview of his visit and stats after we left, and he is feeling better already! They also called the next day to follow up and ask how he was doing, which was really nice. Also, an emergency vet visit is often expensive and can be hard to deal with financially, so we also really appreciate that they offer CareCredit as a payment option.

The staff is wonderful, very knowledgeable & friendly. They take the time to explain everything that they are doing and why they are doing it. You can tell they genuinely care about your pet and you! Comara Lynn is doing great thanks to West Vets!

We brought in a baby kitten we found in the middle of the road at 9: 30 at night and the staff not only helped the little one, but helped us as well. My husband and I already have several cats of our own and could not take in another, unfortunately. The staff went out of their way to make sure the kitten received proper treatment and even found him a home, which is so far above and beyond what I would ever hope for. We are grateful for the help and kindness - the folks who work here are wonderful!

They were extremely thorough with my cat's examination. I took him in for an emergency appointment and they were also very prompt to getting us a room. They taught me stuff about my cat that my regular vet has never brought up ever before. I suggested to my mom that she start taking her cat here instead of our regular vet, because they treated me with much more respect, kindness, and intelligence at Westerville Vet clinic than they ever have at my regular place. Thank you for making my cat feel better and putting me at ease through the whole process. I cannot thank you all enough.

Consistently impressed with the service and treatment our babies receive here! Everyone is super friendly and I love that they have a diverse and inclusive staff. We have finally found a vet I trust.

Love how thorough the new doctor is. I would so much rather have a vet who is overly cautious than one who isn’t. I really feel like she understands how important my babies are to me.

I called and asked questions that took a time to answer and Brenna was very helpful and patient with everything. She was great!

We took in a pregnant stray about 4 months ago. Two kittens survived, that are approx. 8 weeks old. In the last week or so, 1 of the babies started gradually declining. We tried everything at home that we could to get him feeling better, but nothing was helping. Today, he really started to go downhill. Called them and they told us to come on in. When we got there, they got us right in, and within minutes, Milo was in with the Dr. After getting his history, and doing an exam, they gave us a diagnosis and provided a course of action plan, along with the costs, upfront. We were able to wait on some non-emergency things for a couple of weeks and get Milo treated for, "right now" problems. I REALLY appreciated the fact that they were upfront about the costs and what COULD wait, so I didn't have to break the bank today. With our treatment course, today, Milo is ALREADY, NOTICEABLY feeling better. This place also does routine care, and will be our vet for these 2 babies. When I asked, they provided me with the estimates to get them neutered and started on their vaccines. I honestly think little Milo wouldn't have survived the night without their intervention. THANK YOU, TO ALL OF THE STAFF THAT WERE THERE TODAY AND WERE VERY KIND AND CARING! Milo, Gizmo (the other surviving kitten) and I look forward to seeing you again soon, as our primary vet!

They were all very helpful and kind when we brought our dog in for an emergency visit. I was quite upset and they did a wonderful job completing a thorough exam and providing us with all the items and info needed for our dogs recovery. It was also a very safe environment and exam for our reactive dog and the front desk was vigilant in not crowding waiting rooms. I appreciated their follow up call as well.

They don't care about your pets, they care about your money. Go somewhere else if you want proper care.

I am beyond grateful for Westerville vet clinic. They helped my elderly dog get well. They didn't just help as it's their job, they cared. My dog wasn't just another appointment to them, he mattered. It's so hard to find good doctors let alone good vets but I have found that here. I have had bad vets, one almost cost the life of one of my dogs. I only go to a vet if necessary for that reason but I feel I have found one that I trust my dogs lives with. Thank you for everything you've done.

We had to make an indescribably sad decision today. I felt very blessed to have such a caring, wonderful staff there to support us through it. Thank you so much for your soft loving touch on our sweet dog, Hodor. I know our choice was the right one and we cannot express our gratitude enough. The care and honesty there was amazing. Thank you so much for making such a tough experience, bearable. We miss our boy so much - you all are saints for helping us give him the peace he needed. You are appreciated and everyone should choose you for any pet care need.

Everyone here is super nice and helpful. They do a great job of making a trip to the vet as stress free as possible for us and our boy every time!
