Westside Bowl, Youngstown OH

Came here to celebrate my birthday for just a little night out with the kids. Customer service was terrible. Workers treated us like they didn’t want us there and it was a slow Monday night. Food was good and the bartenders were amazing but the other workers were lazy and rude for no reason at all. A man sat at the counter eating a whole pizza but literally rolled his eyes when I wanted to order food. I celebrated my birthday here back in 2021 and the experience was totally different. Never again for this place.

Such a welcoming place. I was there for a special event and there was plenty of room, easily accessible, and clean. Wished I had time to eat there as their pizza smelled fantastic! Looking forward to going back in the future.

Always a great time! Love the atmosphere. By far one of the best places for a night out or even a quick stop for a bite to eat.

Place has an awesome vibe and loved having so many different things all in one place. Their veggie pizza was pretty darn good.

Saw Greg Koch last night. First time in the place, but it was excellent. Of course, Greg Koch was everything I had heard - amazing performance. The Westside Bowl stage and sound were surprisingly good. Clear, loud, but not painful (at least to me). I'll go back anytime they have a name I recognize performing.

Music was great friendly patrons staff was nice and patient especially si ce do busy.clean establishment

The bar food is some of the best in the area. You can get fries and a great chilli dog for $2.50. Beer selection is impressive and the staff knowledgeable and helpful in finding you things you might enjoy.

Great atmosphere and insane beer selection. If you're in a band that's playing here, they take very good care of you so big bonus points for that!

I grew up in this bowling alley back when it was Gran Lanes. A picture of my family hangs at the front desk Its VERY different from back then but super awesome now. Very cool atmosphere. Really good food. Really chill/friendly workers. They don't have automatic score keepers but there is an app you can use to keep score unless you remember how to do it the old school way like us bowling vets Lots of good local bands play here also! Definitely worth checking out!

Maybe the coolest place I've ever been to. Went for a concert and fell in love. The staff is beyond friendly. Made my 2 hour drive worth it. And the pizza is da bomb

West Side bowl is the coolest place to watch a concert! Good sound quality, nice staff, good food and drinks. Can't say enough good things!

This place was amazing. We drove over 4 hours to attend a show at the venue, and we were not disappointed. The staff was great, food and drinks were awesome, and the sound quality for the venue was amazing. Definitely recommend this place for bands to play at and to grab food and drinks. We didn't get to bowl, but I'm sure that experience would be great too.

So, if you are a serious bowler, this might not be the place for you. We went on a very cold Saturday afternoon. No electronic scoring, so if you know how to keep score and the rest in your party don't, it's a great opportunity to cheat! The place is not modern but it was clean and the staff was very friendly. Beer was reasonably priced. We didn't eat, so there was no comment on food. Bathrooms were clean. There were video games, but we didn't check them out. There is a large stage area for live music and dancing. Would like to come back and check it out on a Saturday night. Place has a cool vibe.

I came for the "All about the Pawz" charity event and everything was amazing. All the performances were great, the bartenders were killing it, and overall we had a good night.

The place looks good but was very disappointed by our experience. We visited the establishment with my Developmental Disabled son and were treated very poorly by the bouncers after disclosing to them that we needed the bag with foods and medications for his health. Called the manager on a less busy day to have a nice conversation and explain that after a disability is disclosed by the ADA is illegal to deny any accommodations for the fair enjoyment of the establishment. Manager cut me short and said his bouncers were doing their job. The bouncers never offered an accommodation or called the manager to offer one. The establishment has signs everywhere about how inclusive it is but obviously not inclusive enough.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE IM FROM AUSTINTOWN AND HAD NO CLUE THIS PLACE EXISTED, UNTIL I HAD ORDER THRU DOORDASH, THAT I DO NOW I HAVEN'T HAD THEIR FOOD YET, BUT I PLAN TOO VERY SOON, THE PLACE IS CLEAN, ALWAYS DECENTLY BUSY, WORKERS ARE ALL VERY WELCOMING, AND WILLING TO WAIT ON YOU IMMEDIATELY, ALSO IS SO COOL CUZ ITS BOWLING ALLEY WHICH KIDS, ADULTS LOVE, AND ALSO A RESTAURANT THAT ADULTS AND KIDS LOVE, PLUS A BAR THAT ADULTS LOV, SO PARENTS, AND CHILDREN CAN HAVE FUN, AND ALSO THEY HAVE BANDS. I WALKD IN FOR 1ST TIME BOUT 3 MNTHS AGO AND WAS LIKE LITTLE KID IN CANDY STORE, LOL SO COOL, RETRO AND DECORATED SO AWSOME THERES JUST ALOT TO SAY ABOUT WESTSIDE BOWL PERIOD, AND W SO MUCH TO SAY I CANNOT SAY THERES 1 THING BAD, OR NEGATIVE ABOUT IT! ABSOLUTELY THE BEST PLACE IN YOUNGSTOWNS WESTSIDE, WELL ALL OF MAHONING COUNTY PERIOD, AND ITS THE BEST BOWLING ALLEY IVE EVER HAVE BEEN IN MY 46 YRS OF LIVING! ABSOLUTELY ️ GREAT CALL TO THESE OWNERS WHOEVER THEY ARE THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING W THIS PLACE, OMG OWNERS ALL I CAN SAY IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING JOB, AND TO HAVE YOUR CREATIVITY, IDEAS, PERIOD WOULD B AMAZING, DAMN YOU OWNERS DEFINITELY NEED TO START REDOING MORE RESTAURANTS AND BARS AROUNDTOWN, THE CREATIVITY IS SERIOUSLY MIND BLOWING, AND WE DEFINITELY NEEDED A BAR/RESTAURANT THAT HAS BANDS, NOW THE BOWLING ALLEY IS JUST A PLUS, GREAT JOB GUYS, NOW YALL NEED TO GO BUY WEDGEWOOD LANES AND MAKE SOMETHING HUGE MAYBE A BOUNCE HOUSE, BOWLING ALLEY, BAND, OR LIKE BIGGER INDOOR VENUE FOR BIGGER BANDS, AND THE BOUNCE HOUSE ADULTS CAN JUMP IN LOL. WE NEED SOMETHING SWEET AND YOU OWNERS COULD DEFINITELY ROCK THAT ENTIRE PLAZA.
