Nice quiet neighborhood. The staff was friendly and helpful for the most part. My only complaint is that when I lost my job and was late sometimes with rent Carrie would mess with my car. From removing hubcaps, tirecaps, front license plate etc. The first act of vandalism I actually saw her and then after I installed a discreet camera because it was not in my lease that if being late with rent payments that my car will be tampered with. My advice would be to anyone would be if you start to realize reoccurring damages to your vehicle install a camera. Buy your time and submit your evidence. Stay safe. God Bless!

Edit: Response to the owner:

I said what I said. Unfortunately there are crooked people everywhere no exceptions with this company. So don’t be so confident with the assumptions that no one from the leasing office would do such a thing. Yes I paid whatever necessary late fees included and my car should not been messed with but it was. I don’t now or did before need your hd camera system because as stated before I have my own evidence. Besides the last incident was months ago. My car had something taken off and in increments not a one time all in once sort of thing, each time a report was filed with the police. Now that I’m no longer living there. I’ll decide if I want to pursue this or not. My review was meant to warn others in case they find themselves in a similar situation. Protect yourself by having your own evidence. I never knew everyone’s name in the office but I know the person if I see her. She’s a bit older wear glasses dark hair if her name isn’t Carrie my apologies I don’t know the name of the employee that I just described. This is my story and honest review. Hope this would be a help to someone else. God bless!

This is going to be a long one! I have been here 3 years so I have a very solid formed opinion. I have never been late or missed rent once, so I am a good tenant and am not bitter due to my own actions causing issues. This is my genuine experience. If you desperately need a cheap place that’s easy to get into, this is it. That’s where I was 3 years ago. Thankfully my credit has improved very much and I no longer have anything on my criminal record (it was just a misdemeanor to begin with, but still) so I was able to get into a nice, spacious, modern and remodeled new apartment of which I move January 26th. So I am finally leaving a review since they can’t retaliate now. Biggest two issues— I had cockroaches for all 3 summers I’ve been here that maintenance/the exterminator was not able to exterminate, I had to buy my own chemicals and equipment and rid them myself every time. I have never seen a cockroach until I moved here so it absolutely was not me who brought them, which tells me they have been here infesting the building for years. Unfortunately all the laws in Ohio favor landlords over tenants and they actually aren’t legally responsible for disclosing a prior roach infestation, sad how the laws are. Other main issue was the washer did not work properly for an entire year, I called 5+ times along with other people in the building, it took a YEAR to fix it, but it still had no problem taking your money! Also they have mold on them where the soap goes in and smell. I had to do my laundry elsewhere. These two issues are a breach of the lease on their end. Besides that, the apartments are extremely small and dated, the appliances are extremely small and dated, my carpeting was old upon arrival and I’m sure they are going to try and charge me for it, which I will not be paying for them to simply do bare minimum standard upgrades on the apartment to rent it out to someone else and they keep the rest of the money. So there’s going to be an issue, I plan on not paying my last months rent as they absolutely do not deserve more than maybe $100 from my security deposit. We can go to court. I have plenty of evidence in my favor I took pictures and videos of everything. If it ends up on my credit I will dispute it and get it removed. Stacey in the office is always rude, literally never fails. They have the most Stone Age stoves and refrigerators you will ever see, and my stove smokes so bad and smells bad since the day I moved in “which they fixed”. You can’t even fit a big pizza in it. The top part around the burners are exposed open to which they told me was normal, just very ghetto. One positive thing— The walls between the other apartments in the building are very thick. I will say I never hear anything in the building coming from other residents, so I guess they get a point for that. It’s just so bare minimum, the windows and screens are so old, everything looks like it’s the original design since the building was built in 1950. I was not able to see my apartment before I moved in either. I was told it was “newly renovated” which if they are referring to the standard cleaning and maintenance on an apartment after someone moves out, that is not a renovation. So that was a lie. I currently still live here and will pay Decembers rent, but not January as I stated before. If they think less than $1000 is worth going to court for, then I guess we will meet in court! If you need somewhere to live this is better than being homeless ;) can’t wait to leave.

EDIT AGAIN: Mam, sir, whoever you are— I have proof that I absolutely contacted more than one time about the cockroaches, over the course of 3 years. I told them that the treatment was not working and that I will OBVIOUSLY HAVE TO treat it myself because I am not living with roaches crawling around? That’s a health risk. I don’t know if the staff is not documenting these things as they should or what’s going on. I could have contacted the city but was scared I would get retaliated against. Don’t move here unless you’re desperate!

I used live there years ago and it smelled like some kind of seasoning of spices. It was nasty and I hated it

Good for anyone young and normal, sticklers will hate this place, the hallways can be loud but when in the apartment it's nice and quiet.

In November I will have lived at westview for 10 years. I have loved it here. Any complaints I have had the leasing office has always dealt with them in a prompt manner. The girls in the office have always been very kind and the maintenance people too. My rent has been reasonable these years that I have lived here but I have to say I hope it doesn't increase too much more, affordable rents are becoming a problem

Lived here for 2 years. People dont clean up after their dogs, or pay attention when walking them. Office will send someone to look at something then say its fine when its not. Depending on what building you are in there is a lot of noise. Crazy you have to pay to use the pool! Yes rent is cheap but its been raised $100. If you can find somewhere else then do so. In a bind its a good place but definitely more of a stepping stone to a better place. Constantly see Uhauls parked on the street lol. Cars drive crazy fast through here so watch out. They do have cameras everywhere but its a hassle to get them to actually look at the footage. Office staff seems ok when you first move in then ignores you afterwards. Don’t expect anything to get fixed without a fight. Packages do still get stolen even when left in the Luxor package machine.

Lived her for 12 years. The staff were always amazing and helpful to me. Cant reccomend a better place in Parma to rent. Everything is within walking distance and the grounds are kept clean. Nice small playground for kids too and pool

Pamphlets detailing room layouts and sizes are misleading. Numerous maintenance requests ignored causing damage to our belongings. Spent 5+ hours cleaning upon leave only for them to charge us for being excessively dirty. Ensured all light bulbs were functional before leaving, charged for two blown out. Claimed to replace carpet any time cats are present, yet still charged us hundreds for carpet replacement on top of cat deposit and monthly fee because? Couldn't tell you why. We knew we were moving out soon as I woke up to gun shots in the parking lot that I park in just weeks after moving in, but I wish we would've bit the cost to leave long before lease was up. Avoid this place like it's the plague.

Edit: Almost forgot to mention that nothing was ever done regarding noise or weed complaints. Lovely experience right there.

Edit 2: I highly recommend changing your verbage when convincing new tenants to move in as we were informed it is a pet deposit. That aside, it is absolutely comical that the management blatantly accuse us of lying in a reply to this review. We are not responsible for their lack of record keeping and therefore not responsible for them losing track of our requests and complaints. This further supports our decision to leave and lead others away from these awful apartments. If you have any doubts about my review, read the many others that experienced same or similar issues.

Lived here a year and the only good thing about this place is that it’s cheap and an affordable place to live. The walls are thin, the laundry units seemed to never get cleaned, MOST of the neighbors we had were noisy, and the hallways always smelled. Also, the cops sit in the driveways of the apartments waiting to pull people over coming home and driving through the road leading to the apartments themselves. Called the emergency line a few times and the lady was rude and nasty. If you do rent here, don’t even bother thinking you’re getting your security deposit back!

This is an updated review. I’ve been here almost 3 months. This place is awesome and very affordable for Parma. You can tell the owners really care about the property. It’s kept up very well and looks nice. Everyone in the office was extremely welcoming and helpful through the entire move in process. They have also been there to answer any questions I have had. Maintenance is very friendly too. They will wave and say hi as they go by.

I’m not sure what the negative comments are about. From my understanding this place used to be pretty bad, but new owners took over and cleaned it up. I feel very safe here, they literally have cameras at every entrance to the complex, and on all the buildings. They are connected to the Parma police station. Also all buildings are locked and you need a key fob. So anyone thinking of committing a crime here would have to be pretty stupid. There are signs everywhere about the cameras, as well as no soliciting or trespassing or you will be charged to the fullest degree.

The pool is a plus too and playground. My 8 year old niece loves coming over.

This place is terrible to live at. They don’t care about anyone but they are money hungry. They never come to fix your problems but want you to pay rent on time. The people who work in the office are nasty and rude
