I love Whiskers! They are knowledgeable about every question I have with my aquariums. Whether it's my fish or frogs. No matter who is there, you are going to get help. It gives you the awesome old school pet store vibe with all of the animals. I've been going here for years, and I'll continue to take them my business!

I am a preschool teacher and was actually sent here by a competitor chain pet store employee. I was helped by Harry. He was knowledgeable, kind, and did not pressure any sales. He simply helped me get what I need and gave good advice. I will continue going here and suggest others check it out as well!

Harry was a real nice person and his pet store is in excellent place to go too I recommend him over pet smart whiskers wings and wild things have very nice fish and stuff to get there thank you for your business

The big guy that works there is so rude. He will not get off his phone. They seem to know nothing about cleanliness for their pets. Maybe if he could put his phone down for 5 mins, he could actually do his job.

If your lookin for somethin unique for your fish tank they got it. The staff are very friendly n much more knowledgeable than those big chain petstores. I'll be a returning customer

Really nice locally owned pet store! Came in a while ago to get supplies for my new fish tank. The employee was super nice and helped me out. He recommended me some great substrate and I bought some really nice plants. I was really impressed with the fish supplies! If your a new fish owner you should really check them out:)

I love this place! I've gotten almost 30 fish from here and have never had a problem with any of them. All my fish have been very healthy and beautiful. The owner and his staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. They will answer all your questions and help you with any concerns you may have. The store has always been very clean and all his animals seem to be very healthy and happy. I've tried going to other pet stores but always chicken out because you never know what you're going to be bringing home from those places and I've never had that fear while coming here.

Ask for advice he gave me the right stuff a little expensive but it works my dog is happy so I'm happy

They sold me a hedgehog was very obviously mistreated.he was vaping the entire time and had an attitude.told me the hedgehog was a few months old when he very clearly has already quilled and is already a year old.if he wasn’t kept in a giant bin in the open in the middle of the hallway and actually was taken care of, i would be able to take care of him better without him getting mad and hissing

I have purchased most of our family's pets from here have been coming for years love this store and the brothers who run the store are great very knowledgeable about what they sell. I keep seeing reviews about some puppy mill thing but they haven't sold puppies for a few years now I think some people just have their britches in a bunch. Will continue to shop here and support a great local business.

Canton, Ohio: Susan Fitzgerald / Whiskers, Wings and Wild Things (REPEAT OFFENDER) – Unlicensed breeder who admitted to neutering puppies without a veterinarian and without anesthesia is still selling via her pet store and online, two years after the state revoked her license. Susan Fitzgerald first appeared in our 2016 Horrible Hundred report after the Ohio Department of Agriculture revoked her High Volume Breeder License due to numerous animal care violations, according to news reports. Perhaps the most egregious violation was Fitzgerald’s admission that she neutered puppies herself, without anesthesia, according to an ABC news 5 report. Other violations documented in Fitzgerald’s state inspection reports include a lack of veterinary care, the sale of underage puppies, a lack of ventilation and a significant odor. For these and other reasons, we listed Fitzgerald in our 2016 Horrible Hundred report, yet she remains in business in 2018, despite the fact that she still does not appear to have a USDA license or a state kennel license. The HSUS has reported Fitzgerald to both the USDA and local authorities, but as this report was being prepared (May 4,2018), she was still unlicensed.

Bought a female cichlid that was marked on the tank as $14.99. Came to 23.99 at the register. Put her in a quarantine tank since there was fish dead in the tank she came from. Woke up the following morning and she was dead. Called the store to see about a replacement or refund and was informed they don't do that but tried to tell me it was my water quality and offered to test it. Lesson learned. I wont return and do not recommend shopping here. What a shame!

I just bought a female guinea pig 5 days ago I found out she was pregnant today by her going into labor and I didn’t have the money to take her to the vet cuz she needed a c section because her pelvis was close to have the babies. She was an older guinea pig.he never told me she was pregnant. I just had to Barry her tonight thanks so much for not telling me anything bout ur animals

You pretty much have a 50/50 chance with your fish. Some of them are beat up and can tell they shouldnt be in a tank with certain fish. And if you have a fish die that day, even the more pricey fish they don't give the option of testing your water and seeing if your water was fine and they sold you a infected or dying fish, which every fish store I've went to does do that and will replace them, so if you like taking risks go to this store. The fish are beautiful but its like a nightmare in disguise. Especially if you spend a good amount of money on fish like me.

I purchased a kitten from here two weeks ago. The kitten has fleas and ear mites. So on top of paying $75 for the kitten ive paid more than that in expenses treating the kitten that they probably were given for free. I’ll just stick to petsmart in the future.

I like this place, feels like family owned business, animals seem healthy and cared for there. Lots of pet supplies.

I live in Niles but drive here for supplies. Cheaper then online, great high quality selection and the shop owner knows all about his products! We absolutely love this shop and this is our go to when we need anything for our fur baby. I highly suggest coming here for Any pet needs!
