The place is simply awesome! The food every night was absolutely amazing! You will see more buck than you can count. Ty will definitely put you on good deer. His reputation speaks for itself. If you want a hunt where you'll see a lot of deer and a chance at a giant he is your guy!

They treat you well, feed you well, and definitely have the deer. Ty and his crew run a top-notch, first-class organization. No one works harder. I did not kill a deer, but already booked 2024 and 2025 hunts. What does that tell you.

I can not say enough great things about this outfitter! The effort put in by the team here to make sure you have the best hunting experience is incredible to say the least. The hunting sets are excellent, the staff is amazing and the Family atmosphere is incredible! Ty McCombs is the real deal when it comes to whitetail outfitters. He truly is THE best outfitter in Ohio. He and everyone that works with him goes above and beyond to give you the best experience possible both at the lodge and in the field. Just got home yesterday after spending the week with Ty and his family. When I say family I’m including Phil, Chase and the crew because he treats them all like family. I saw more deer than I’ve ever seen in my life and I grew up hunting in Wisconsin and Iowa. His deer management is second to none. I didn’t tag out, but not everyone can get a Booner, I’m realistic. He puts everyone in position to see one and works his butt off. I saw the negative reviews from the idiots that didn’t send in their payments and expected their spots to be held after 10 months. You guys missed out on the opportunity of a lifetime. I normally don’t write reviews but I can’t recommend this enough. - Timmy Tom

I want to start off to say I have never seen a whitetail operation like this period! I’ve have been to numerous whitetail outfits from West, MidWest, and Eastern Shore, over the years and can say hands down Ranked #1! Ty and his guides are Top Notch, from great personalities, knowledge, camp life, stand setups, plus food that is out of this world! I recently Harvested a (Booner) Buck of a lifetime that as a young hunter- (boy) has dreamed about shooting! Ty and his crew did know me for more then 2 hours the night I came into camp and went to sleep for the first morning hunt! With a little luck on my side By 9: 00 a.m the next morning I had harvested a 14 pt. Giant by listening to Ty and Scent control Techniques over his many years of experience! The days after as my Dad was still hunting I asked if I could help Ty and his crew to bait sites as you are allowed to in Ohio, scouting for new spots, and checkin cams while his hunters are in the stand. In one day the amount of work these men do Ty +plus crew is unreal! I seen with my own eyes no one can say that he is not trying to give every hunter/client the best chance/opportunity at a 150” and up trophy whitetail! Let alone the management process of these Monster Majestic Whitetails that’ roam the hardwoods and hills of WhitetailOutfitters of Ohio! Numerous Repeating customers were in camp as well as new- from his website to photos all they have is proof of what you call success! End of Story! Thank you Ty McCombs a hunt I will never forget!

Ty and his family run a class act. They do a great job setting you up for success. The hospitality and accommodations were wonderful and it was a very welcoming atmosphere.

I have hunted with TY McCombs for 4 years now. I drive over 14 hours from Louisiana because it is worth every minute of that drive. I have never seen an outfitter work this hard to put me on Big Trophy Whitetail. Also the education on scent control is priceless! I look forward to coming hunt with you all every year! My first time trying out this place. Will definitely be back, out of 12 outfitters this was probably my favorite hunt. Communication was open and honest, deer where not pressured, honestly have 0 complaints. Big guys where locked up with the heat but seen 2 1/2 years olds pretty much daily with a few 3 1/2 year olds. Definitely have the genetics to be monster bucks. Highly recommend.

Top notch outfitter. Ty manages his farms year round ensuring quality bucks. Plenty of farms and stands in order to hunt all wind directions. His farms produce numerous 160-180 class bucks every year. If you want a quality hunt and have an opportunity for a buck of a lifetime, you can do it at Whitetail Outfitters of Ohio.

Been going to Ty for 3 years now he is hands down the best outfitter I have ever been too. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to kill big mature free range whitetails!

I've hunted with Ty for over ten years. He runs an Amazing operation. He works hard to make things happen. The properties that he leases are in beautiful country and have great deer! The lodging and food are excellent, the people helping him are awesome. He offers a convenient payment plan that's easy to follow. If you're thinking about hunting with Ty, you're on the right track!

Please please do NOT do business with this unethical company. They do not return phone calls, emails, or texts. They have one goal in mind. To take your money and give you nothing in return but broken promises. They took our deposits and then double sold our hunt to another group and now refuse to return our deposits. We have now had to file a police report in Ohio and have a mess on our hands. All because they are terrible business people and want to do whatever they can to steal your money. We now dont have a hunt to look forward and have to fight in court to get our funds back. Stay away!

As I sit here in the stand with only one day left, I am full of emotion. Ty has given me a chance to feel closer to my father who passed in 2016. One of my best friends shot a 165 inch whitetail and the other passed on a mid 140s. I too drew back twice on the biggest buck of my life. I did not get to take a shot (darn branches and I’m sure my dad was laughing from above), but I am overjoyed at just the chance to see such a magnificent whitetail. Although some people think it’s the harvest that is important, it’s not. It’s the experience…. The experience in nature, the experience with friends old and new and everything in between.
I have been with several outfitters and never posted but felt compelled to post this. Ty, his wife Tammy, Phil, Chase and the rest of his crew are amazing. The temperatures have been warm which usually shuts the deer off. Ty won’t accept that excuse. He has put everyone in camp on deer. Tammy cooks amazing food, the place you stay is beautiful and spotless and the memories you make will last a lifetime. He ensures the stands are safe, comfortable, and have the right wind direction. His entire team is up before us (and we wake up at 330am) and goes to bed after us. If you are looking to make great memories and truly have a chance at the buck of a lifetime, you definitely need to see Ty.

Without a doubt, one of the hardest working outfitters in the country. Not only does him and his family care about the deer, they also care about the people.
