Willow Brook Christian Home, Columbus OH

Employee of Willow Brook Christian Home 4 1/2 years; last 10 years of working life. After being part of the workforce for 41 years and being micromanaged most of those years, WBCH has saved me from loosing faith in myself and mankind. The last employer let me go after 21 years without a blink of an eye. At least 50 bosses and 25 employers, I have never worked for a company so loving and kind and believing in giving 2nd chances. From day one, I have had so many God sightings of good things happening. Couples loving each other until death do them part; employees reaching out to those in need without being asked; coworkers hanging in there like families when they do not have to, a CEO who knows everyone by name and has established guidelines for us to follow that makes us all better human beings, and a boss that is nothing short of a miracle as he gives direction and strength to those of us who are lost. Thank you Willow Brook for bringing me back from a rough patch and letting me use my skills in which I'm best at and not rushing me along!

I was a rehab patient here for six weeks following hip surgery. The physical therapy staff, skilled nurses and aides were all very helpful, knowledgeable and professional. My overall experiences at Willow Brook Christian Home, including my personal care and meals, were extremely positive which helped me to successfully complete my rehab.

It was the worst place I ever work for. I wouldn't suggest my family members to stay there. I'm thinking it's a big difference with the word, Christian in the title of the nursing home it would be better. But unfortunately it was a naive judgment on me. The Nurses and the DON shown a privileged altitude about themselves that is distasteful. Some of the workers neglect their residents too. One of the worst place to work for. I sense in the environment of " Greediness" all over it! I worked better places. My discernment of the place was not a great one.

I’ve had a wonderful experience staying at Willow Brook for my rehab. The nurses were pleasant and attentive, the facility and my room was clean and comfortable, and the food was great. I was thankful for the experience I had and it was much better than other rehab facilities I’ve stayed in.
