Wilmington Plaza Cinemas

Came here to see "Sound of Freedom" and had my whole row get threatened to be kicked out because 2 people were quietly talking. The lady behind me knocked me out of my chair to run to the front desk and complain but never had anything said to her. There were 3 or 4 other people around us talking as well and nothing ever got said. Needless to say, I'll never be back in this theater.

My boyfriend and I go here on date nights, very cheap place to get tickets, love their slushies and popcorn.

Haven't been to theater in years. Went to see Sound of Freedom. The staff was wonderful, prices were very good, &, the movie was great.

*I got the chance to revist the theater for another movie and had a much better viewing experience, cleaner theater and restrooms. I changed my stars ratings from 3 to 4! Keep on improving and we will keep on visiting! *

Ok. I wish the star system was equipped to handle expectations. The staff at this location was kind and super attentive, 5 stars. The theater gets 3 stars. Don't get me wrong, $5.50 for a movie is a bargain and I'm glad we have a movie theater in Wilmington but when you're feet actually stick to the floor during the movie? ! On a positive note, when you buy popcorn you get to apply the butter and salt yourself! (. And the Batman was just ok. Dark Knight!)

The prices have gone up to $6 but it's still well worth it. Went with the family to see and support "Sound of Freedom" Fitting release for the 4th of July!

It's different than most movie places, the walkway is in the middle only and you sit on the sides. Odd place

This place had been running for a long time. I have been going for as long as I can remember. The theater has been great for years but something is now in the way. Recently me and a group of my friends all different ages went to the theater, expecting to see the little mermaid, a literal kids movie. But was rudely interrupted by a new rule.you can not see any movies, no matter the rating with out a parent unless you are 14 and up. I personally think this is outrageous. So many kids of all different ages do not always have a parent that can go with them. Also I think that 11-13 year olds are a lot of time more responsible then 14 years olds are, i understand were kids have been bad in the past but that’s just how people are. I hope this theater gets new management. I’m not happy with my visit. I suggest if you want to see a movie to go somewhere else as every one I have talked to has had a bad experience. I wish I could give this place 0 stars. They will find a way to ruin your experience. By the way this is not only the age restriction. I have watched many people get kick out for no reason and have seen lots of bad customers service. Please do not support this place.

Plus+ Always neat and clean, friendly staff, very reasonable admission prices with Matinee and Senior specials.
Minus- Cimfort. Always reallly cold take a jacket! And as all theaters, snacks are high $. But they do have combo specials. Would like to see more first run movies here.

I just want to say thank YOU to the night staff on 5/12! I took my daughter to go see Guardians of the Galaxy, late show, and I applaud them on their genuine hospitality, professionalism and how they managed juvenile delinquents who attempted to ruin the viewing for others. They didn’t even get a CHANCE thanks to your awareness.

It's a small theater, but the seats were comfortable, price was great, and place was clean.

Always a good time with a movie and popcorn. Be better if they got rid of the mouse problem. We were in theater 3, and one ran over my mouse foot. Once we brought it to an employees attention (which she was conveniently on the phone with her boss), she said "I apologize about that. We're working on it. " Then said to the person on the phone "We got a mouse again. "

Won't be back for awhile.

Restarted the movie when someone lost their phone 40 minutes into the movie after taking 10 seconds to find it.

Great place, not overly crowded and can enjoy the movies. The popcorn is the best I've had at a theater. You can add as much butter as you want!

This is just a small theater but I so much appreciate it being in Wilmington. I wish more people would take advantage of it so we could get hotdogs and pretzels.
