Windswept in Time Orchids, Broadview Heights OH

I am new to this hobby and out of curiosity I did go to Grand Rapids for a orchid show where I discovered this business and their story. What a great story and passion for growing orchids. I wish I was closer to Cleveland but I will probably go there to see the green house and chat some more with the owners. From my short interaction while paying for the plants I realized that they are doing this more like a hobby than money. I wish them that they will turn into a successful business, we need more people like this, with passion for their craft.

I have bought 3 orchids from Windswept so far, 2 from a show and 1 shipped. I am so happy with all 3 of them, the plants are nice and healthy and strong. I especially love the mounted brassavola nodosa I bought at the show. I can't wait to see these babies bloom. Edgar was so nice and knowledgable - he took the time to explain the care of each orchid to everyone I saw buying things from him at the show. He also included a nice hand written note with my shipped plant. All around a great experience. I can promise I'll be a return customer! Thanks!

Orchids are not native around here. To have someone dedicated & knowledgeable to bring these flowers to this area is amazing. The couple who owns it, were very helpful & just added a family-based hospitality. I would highly recommend going & buying some. Orchids are mostly easy to care for 1st time plant lovers. Awarding as well!

Just got my first order from Windswept in time Orchids, super, super pleased with everything. Edgar was super helpful in answering all my questions about tolumnia’s, kept my plants until weather was safe for shipping and even threw in two extra guys! Everything from ordering to receiving the whole experience was superb, not to mention the plants are in great health nice green roots coming from all over! Also, always email him if you are looking for specific as sometimes he has extra that are not on his website! Will be ordering again soon.

An incredible amount of orchids available. The owners are just truly good people who know more about orchids than you can possibly imagine! I'll never buy another orchid from a store again!

I stumbled upon a hidden gem today filled with exotic orchids and tropical plants I’ve only seen in pictures. The diverse collection found at Windswept is unlike anything I’ve seen in the northwest, for the exotic plant lovers this is more than worth a visit! Edgar helped to educate me on every orchid I purchased and even offered additional help if I ever needed anything. If you’re new to orchids, or an experienced grower, this is the place for you!

We were visiting Cleveland Botanical Gardens for their Orchids Forever exhibit and saw Windswept in Time Orchids had provided a number of Orchids for the exhibit so we called and Edgar offered to show us their orchids and greenhouse. Had a great time visiting with Edgar and learned quite a bit about several new species. Highly recommended for anyone interested in learning more about orchids!

So in love with this place, went there with my husband for my birthday with intentions of bringing one plant home. Left there with 4 beauties! The owners were informative, generous, and obviously had a passion for what they do! Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed!
