Wingfoot Lake State Park reviews
22Lovely place to take the puppies! Had an issue with fleas earlier in the year but other than that is super super nice! Great place for family gatherings too!
Beautiful park with many large trees. We were at the end of fall and the trees had lost most of their leaves. This place will be awe-inspiring in the spring and mid-fall.
Beautiful place to hold a family gathering, wedding, or go on a walk w your loved one. Take a pet in the dog park. Enjoy a little fishing, some quiet me time, or anything else. Beautiful settings clean park
Nice and clean. Well taken care of. You can see the good year blimp garage across the lake. It would be great if you knew when they were going to take it out!
Beautiful view of the lake. Large enough to have your own space with multiple dogs in the park. Open year round. Also has a small shelter to stand under during rainy weather.
Awsome place! Great off leash dog park. Beautiful paved walking path. Very well maintained. Very peaceful!
Awesome family park. Open late. Enjoy watching Goodyear blimp take off and land rigjt across lake. Good fishing spot too.
The dog park is nice but small. Nice views of the water, and lots of trees. I have never seen so many squirrels in one place, which my dog loved. I noticed that not every one was cleaning up after their dogs, which my husband found out the hard way.
Unlimited HP with no wake walking trails and picnic shelters throughout the park.
Dog parks for large and small dogs. Thumb up beautiful park!
We love having our family reunions here. Especially when the Blimp is flying around. Quiet and trouble free place. Cheap to get and the pavilions have plenty of space and outlets for any party.
Wish there were more smaller playgrounds around for the kids.
Went here for our granddaughter birthday party. I had never been there before. I would go back. Very nice place.
Nice quiet retreat, tucked behind a subdivision. Lots of activites to offer and the walking path along the lake is beautiful. Great place for a picnic
This is one of my favorite parks to come to in greater Akron area- the walking trails are easy to access. The dog park (big dog and small dog area) are at the entrance of the park but not in the way of any other activities you may wish to participate in. There are water activities like kayak rentals, small boat ramps and fishing. There’s a mini golf (open seasonally) and a frisbee golf course. And one of the neatest things about the park is being able to watch the Goodyear blimp take off or land from the hangar across the lake- there’s a perfect view from the many park benches lining the shore
Beautiful park. LOTS of pavilion/picnic area. Next summer I want to try the dog park with our dog. So much to do. If you're lucky, you may get to see one of the Goodyear blimps as they are stored near this park.
Lots of room for group functions and have a variety of activities like beach volleyball, basketball (although the court could be better), boating, putt putt and open fields
I use the Dog Park Frequently. They have a nice layout but do little maintenance. Last year's leaves were never removed and now this year's leaves make it difficult to clean up after dog's. The gates and latches are also broken and difficult to open.
Goood when responsible pet owners are there. But not when morons ignore the responsibility of raising their pets!
Extraordinarily nice park! Lots to do and very well maintained. We had a large group event and the ample pavilion accommodated our entire group easily. The putt putt course is a little bit old and worn, but it has a certain charm.
Wonderful park plenty of things to do and if you are there at right time you can watch the blimp land or take off
