Wise Dental Care, Mason OH

I had a dental emergency and they fit me in right away and took very good care of my teeth. Wise dental care is now my dentist for life. I would highly recommend them for any dental problems. Thank you Dr Gelder and the staff at wise dental care. You have definitely made me smile and want to smile more often. I look forward to my next visit.

My oldest son first found this office and Dr. Gelder. He loved them and kept bragging about them. Eventually, my other two sons as well as my wife and I all transferred over to this office and have stayed with them for years. We absolutely love them!

The staff is friendly and professional. I love my hygienist and the customer-service mindset here.

I also love that when I needed to have crowns, I didn't have to get temps put in and then wait for the permanent crowns to come in. Dr. Gelder has them machined right there on-site! The whole crowning process can be done in one trip!

I just had a crown put in today. It was completely painless and was completed with a permanent crown in only 90 minutes!

Dr. Gelder has amazing technology onsite that scans your teeth, makes a digital model and then machines the permanent crown. No temporary crown is required and the whole process is done in the one visit.

I have been seeing another dentist and while they are pleasant people, I felt that I was more of a number in line than anything else. Long story short I had severe pain after a procedure with them and I was told I couldn't be seen for a week and that some discomfort was normal. I started looking online for help and that's when I found Wise Dental Care. I asked my questions about my pain via e-mail and Dr. Gelder called me on a Saturday morning to answer my questions and give me some advice on what I could do until I was able to be seen either by him or my other dentist. Taking time out of his weekend to call someone who wasn't even his patient and he may never speak to again, just to help me manage my pain - I had a feeling I found my new dentist. I just had my first visit with Dr. Gelder a few days ago, and I am extremely happy with him and his entire staff. It's a very nice and cozy office and everyone seems genuinely happy to be there and to help. Dr. Gelder took the time to explain to me what looked off/might be the cause of my pain, what he did to correct it, and said all of it in a manner that was easy for me to understand. I was then texted by the office the following day asking me how I was feeling and if I had any more questions. The overall experience was better than anything I would have ever expected.

Excellent dentist. Not one of those franchise dental offices. They work efficiently and take the time to get it right. My son and I have been going to Wise for years.

In 2020 I came to Wise Dental to get a root canal done on my tooth. I haven’t been doing my due diligence in not chewing gum or eating certain things so the other day my fake tooth came out when I was eating. I called Dr. Scott Gelder and he got me in immediately. When I originally came here in 2020, we paid out of pocket for my root canal/fake tooth. He took care of me today at no cost to myself. I found it extremely kind and selfless of him. He could have easily charged me because I didn’t follow the Instructions on aftercare of my tooth and yet he still took care of me. I wish he took my insurance because I’d be back again. Thank you Dr. Scott Gelder!

Went for my first visit, after re-establishing a new office. This is not your corporate dentistry kind of office. The office itself is very nice, all state of the art equipment. The staff really made a difference. Everyone was so friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. The receptionist bakes wonderful cookies every evening and they are packaged up and ready for patients on their way out (with the only caveat is you need to brush your teeth after of course), but such a cool way to connect.

They are very welcoming, like that family office feel in a very nice office which sets them apart from the rest. The toys they let the kiddos pick out when done was such a neat thing, the kids loved it. We are in the process of moving our littles over from the pediatric dentist as they were really good with my teens.

The cleaning was great, even learned some new things. The dentist is up front and honest. We talked about a couple of my concerns with my teeth and provided different solutions to think about but very fair price. I will be taking a couple of those solutions. No one in the family had cavities, no high dollar treatment plans, just plain honesty and I felt comfortable being honest back (example: I don’t wear my current mouth guard for grinding but dentist provided better solutions, he makes the mouth guards out of a softer material.

I highly recommend. My family was so impressed that we are moving the little ones over as well. If you want an upper scale office with a family friendly environment, this is the perfect office. 5 *’s from me and my family. We plan to be with this office long term. I've been a patient of Dr. Gelder's for 20 years which speaks to my trust in his care. Recently when I was experiencing tooth pain after hours, he called me and scheduled to assess me the next morning. He never tries to push procedures you don't need in order to fill his schedule (and his wallet) as other dentists do. And he always gives me helpful tips on how to care for my teeth.

Had a great experience at Wise Dental! From being greeted at the reception desk to going through the actual procedure, I experienced nothing but a warm, friendly and profesional atomosphere. I definitely recommend them.
