Wódka Bar reviews
18We had an issue with our reservation made on Open Table. Payton who identified herself as the manager was too busy to assist us. Said she was going to call us back next day. Never received a call back. The owner also didn't respond to repeated email attempts. Highly recommend avoiding!
Wow! If you’re in Cincinnati, you owe it to yourself to eat here! It’s delish! Loved the ambiance, service and food. We were traveling through and this place was suggested to us. So glad we came! Our server, Jord, gave us great suggestions for dishes and drinks! Her attention to detail made our experience so memorable. Thank you Jord! (If you get her, she’s got You! - great smile and fun personality) The Mushroom Stroganoff was amazing. The Pierogi was tasty. The Keilvasa Bowl and mushroom buckwheat Soup was incredible. Did I mention the decor? They have a really cool stain glass lighting fixture on the ceiling! Beautiful. This will be our go to when we visit again.
Remarkable little place with great Polish food. Probably won't last forever so fo now
Reminds me of trips to Poland & of visiting GG’s house back in Chicagoland. An absolute delight in every bite, every smell, and so many flavors bringing back so many great memories! Loved it. Seating is limited, definitely make a reservation.
This place is fantastic. Almost don't want more people to find out about it in case it gets too busy to get a seat. The Polish food takes me back to dinner with my grandmother.
Small space but didn’t detract from the atmosphere. Mushroom stroganoff was great! Shared a piece of the Medovik cake - yum! Service was very good. Make a reservation!
Great bar and service. We came in at the end of the night before they closed, and our food/drink orders were accommodated.
The drinks and food were delicious! I forgot to take photos as our group devoured the dishes quickly.
Huge selection of vodkas and excellent food. Pierogi's are exceptional! They have an outdoor window to order carry out also.
Incredible, unique food and drinks. Service was excellent and incredibly quick. Everyone had a wonderful time here!
Date night from start to finish.
The seating is extremely limited. While we had reservations for a high-top, it was facing the direct sun, so we were able to change our seats to an outdoor table.
We ordered the Borscht soup, the Khachapuri, and the Babcia Platter to share. All total we had 5 cocktails between the two of us. The cocktails had such sophisticated flavors (like an explosion of flavors from first sip to aftertaste!) and were absolutely amazing.
But the food. The food! It was to die for. Every single thing we put in our mouths. I have absolutely ZERO complaints, criticisms, or hesitations. I loved it all and can't wait to go back! Five stars from me (and even my bourbon-loving husband)!
There's a secret window off 12th street where you can place an order and they'll have it made for you in 15 minutes or less! Fun little stop on your walk home after a crazy night on main street!
Absolute gem in otr for a drink and a bite to eat. Romantic spot for talking and the perogis and vodka are something to remember.
Drinks are crazily good and special. The have many cocktails to choose from with special different flavors. Super nice staff and cool russian design
Food was awesome but very small portions. Wouldn't recommend try to get full there.
Love this place! Always hits the spot and always innovating with new creative dishes. Anytime we are in OTR this is top of our list.
6/5. My heart was filled with joy eating at Wodka Bar with their classic Eastern European fares and dark brooding, romantic ambience.
We started with the Hungarian Deviled Eggs. Nice, but the least exciting item we tried. Next, we had the sweet potato Latkes. Absolutely delicious. This was followed by the Georgian Khachapuri, which was out of this world delectable. So much so that we ordered a second for the table.
I personally ordered the white borscht. Hearty and homey.very much enjoyed! The Kielbasa and Sauerkraut over mashed potatoes was a sleeper for me. I thought it would be "good", but it was phenomenal! I enjoyed it thoroughly.
I washed it all down with a glass of the Zlatan Otak Plavac Mali- a red wine from Dalmatia region of Croatia.
I will be thinking of this restaurant and the delightful cuisine for some time. I would come back to Cincy just for a taste of Eastern Europe at Wodka Bar.
Last note, PLEASE come to Nashville. You would absolutely smash it there!
I had an absolutely tremendous meal here. The cocktails are strong, and the menu is small and to the point. That's something I value, as it means they're actually focused on what they're making. We ate the pickle and bread plate. Which was very tasty but was also treasonously expensive for what it was. It's literally 4 slices of bread and pickled veggies with 1 half of a pickled egg for 15 bucks. The bread, pickles, and fixings were all very good, and I truly enjoyed it, but for 15 dollars you could give us a full egg at least. We also had the borscht which was the best I've ever had, and we all shared our mains. Everything was great, and I had a great experience here. I'll be back next time I'm in town.
We had a great time having drinks here for a friends birthday. We made reservations to sit at the bar and continually bought drinks while sitting at the bar. However, As soon as we were cashed out the bartender raises her voice at us and told us to leave saying we were taking up the whole bar. This was maybe a few minutes after everyone had gotten they payment back and was finishing up their drinks. It put a bad taste in everyone’s mouth that we were rudely rushed immediately.
Definitely one of the best bars in the city. Unique and delicious infused vodkas and cocktails. Amazing quality food! Friendly bartenders. Cozy atmosphere.
Incredibly busy during weekend evenings, so I recommend checking it out during non-peak times. Reservations recommended.
