Wolf Creek Tavern, Norton OH

My review is a little late but better late than never. My husband and I stopped for an impromptu dinner about a month ago. The food was excellent and our waitress was so sweet and very knowledgeable about the menu. We met the owner who gave us a look at the speak easy in the basement of the restaurant which was incredible…he even gave us the history of the restaurant going back to the days of prohibition. It was overall a great experience and we are happy to have found a new place to eat out!

The food was really good but the bar made our drinks wrong the first time so we ordered something different and the second drink had no alcohol in it. The bar maid came out to our table and said she was going to make the second drink exactly the same as the first time and was extremely rude with her hands on her hips and was very degrading like a complete bully. Then the owner brought our burgers out and was super rude about which was done medium and medium well, how were we to know if it was the same burger? Then we paid with cash and not only once did we get short changed but twice. We have eaten here so many times and have always been beyond pleased but this time was so different and then we found out the bar maid was the one taking our payment for our dinner and was short changing us. I'm sorry but she needs to go, she is ruining this business!

The food was very good. We enjoyed the atmosphere of this restaurant. A little pricey but worth it. I would come back here again!

The decor is perfect the server was on her game the food was like a taste of love, the speak easy was a walk back in time loved it.

Warm, welcoming environment with a great variety of appetizers and entrees. Not the same old fair here. Outstanding crafted cocktails

Service is slow but friendly, food is good but way too expensive for the area. They are charging $15 for a wedge salad! Ken Stewart’s Grill doesn’t even charge that much! Bar area is freezing in the cooler months and you can’t even take your coat off.

We had our wedding here, Very professional GREAT food the staff is top notch. We never had to ask for anything the staff was always on top of their game. The owner is such a great guy and was genuinely caring about how our experience was. HIGHLY recommend giving this place a try. The speak easy was sooooo wonderful and no im not going to tell you where the speak easy is because that would spoil the fun

The food was EXCELLENT. Be prepared to linger because a really good meal can take some time to make.

Terrible service. Very dark and dated. My husband and I came here for the first time excited to try something local. We came at 8pm, saw the “seat yourself” sign. Sat outside where another couple already was seated and eating. 10 minutes passed, a waitress finally came out, did not even acknowledge us or ask for our order, so we decided to leave.

What a great find! We had excellent food and service. Our server made a great wine recommendation. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. We will definitely be back soon!

We love the craft cocktails here! Service can be on the slower side but decent craft cocktails take time so we dont mind and know before going.

The house mixed drinks were great. Appetizers were of good portion size and tasty. The entire party ordered versions of the different house burgers. All of them were cooked to order and delicious.

Food and service was very good. This restaurant is NOT handicap accessible even though they claimed to be during a phone call. The ramp leads to a locked door! We managed to get my husband in and out on this visit but we will never return.
