Wolfie's Campground, Zanesville OH

We stayed 2 nights and it was peaceful. There is a lot for families to do there and keep kids entertained. We had no issues maneuvering our 30ft Class C and the spot we got was level. If we lived closer, this would be an awesome place to vring the grandkids. I will keep this campground on my list for my next cross country trip.

We had a great time this past weekend camping at Wolfie's. It was the first time for our camping group and we really enjoyed it. We met the owners who are friendly and inviting and they put on a Halloween walk through the woods that was fantastic! We will be back.

Excellent owners! Got our group together which can be a pain. Very accommodating! On our list to come back to next time we are in the area. Only gripe is some of the sewers need cut down, #1 rule in plumbing is poop flows down hill.not up.

This campground is perfect if you are looking to spend time around Zanesville.

Full service hookups, the showers are nice. We will stay there again if ever we are in town.

Very well kept and family friendly campground! We tent camped here with our kids (2 and 4). The tent area was mowed and trimmed with plenty of space between tents and access to water and electric. Refreshing to camp at a place where the tent sites are cared for as these can, at times, be overlooked in many other campgrounds. Each site had a fire ring and picnic table as well and are completely shaded in the trees (makes hot weather camping still doable in a tent). The playground is a real selling point for the kids! Large area with many different activities for the kids to entertain for a long period of time. In addition to the playground, the owners do a wonderful job of providing arts / crafts / activities for the kids as well. They truly go above and beyond! Our kids loved rocked painting, bracelet making, and the scavenger hunt. They constantly beg for us to go back and we'll be returning during the Halloween timeframe for the third time this year.

As for adults, the walking trail is a great way to experience some woods / outdoors even while the campground location is very convenient to Zanesville and other amenities. The camp store is well stocked with all the typical "oopsie I forgot / broke" items as well as unique gifts to Wolfies for family and friends. Restrooms are spotless! If you're used to staying at State / National Park campgrounds (or most other private campgrounds for that matter) you won't even recognize the bathrooms for how clean and well kept they are. This is probably the most appreciated aspect for my wife.

Wolfies offers a great all around enjoyable and safe environment for both adults and kids making it a great place to get away with a family. Highly recommend and we'll continue to be repeat patrons!

My wife and I recently stayed at Wolfie's campground. It is a small, but very well maintained campground! We were in a pull through site with 50 amp and full hookups. The bathrooms and showers were very clean! It is close to everything (stores, etc) in Zanesville and not far from I 70. Kevin in the office was super friendly! Great stop!

We had a great time here by ourselves and with our grandkids. Even though this is a family oriented rv park, please be aware of people that do not care for dogs! Yes I met an older man that didn't care for my 5 lb chihuahua.

This is very nice campground and clean facilities. We were in site 38 hard a bit of trouble setting up because it was a narrow pad and we couldn’t open our slides but managed to move it over into the grass to accommodate them. If you are not going to unhook I suggest using a different site. Aside from that we really liked the campground and staff. The gentleman that assisted us was very helpful. We will stop in again on our way back to Jersey.

The owner is the sweetest person. I felt safe. The cabins were spotless.
The store had a wonderful selection of supplies at very good pricing.
I can't wait to go back next October!

Great experience! Everyone is friendly and people went out of their way to be helpful. They had a haunted trail, which seemed to be well organized, and the decorations were fun to look at. I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at Wolfie’s in a Class A RV in early October, 2023. It was a great campground to stay in. The grounds were well kept and the sites had ample room. It was off season so it was very quiet. There is a great trail which we walked and outdoor games (which we did not take advantage of). The laundry room was clean and modern. The owners live on the property and offered suggestions about things to do in the area. They were very friendly. The campground itself was an easy access to I-70. We would highly recommend the campground for couples or families because of the amenities and the friendly hosts. Thank you.

There was a restaurant/bar with a live band close by playing until after 11pm so it was hard to get our little one to sleep but the campground was clean and fun. Our kids had a great time. Carol was exceptionally nice. We’ll be back for sure.

Kevin and his mom were very nice and attentive. The campground was very clean, well manicured, bathrooms were very clean. The location was very quiet and peaceful and we will return!

Camp sites are very small and close quarters to other campers. Water pressure nil it is below 40psi. Won’t allow mats on grass, although grass was 7-10 inches long at arrival. Although was cut upon request. Position of fire rings are not placed to enjoy, as most were by the gravel road, because being so close to neighboring campers. Very small camp ground.
