Large shop, run by volunteers. Clean, very well organized. Clothing, furniture, housewares, pretty much everything. Reasonable prices. Only open three days, check website for hours.

I love this shop so much! I visit all the time and can always find cute fun items. Everyone who works there is so sweet and really cares about their job. I highly recommend for anyone looking for gently used furniture for a bargain!

The management is fantastic. The entire store has a friendly and warm atmosphere. The contents of the store are appropriately priced and goes to a great cause. Would highly recommend to anybody.

Today I visited this store because I was in need of some clothing that fit better. I chose several blouses and 2 slacks and jeans each. The woman checking me out processed my tops first but when she got to my pants she said that the first one had tags on it so it was a dollar more than the posted price a "red dot" seemed to be involved. None of my garments were marked with any tag that indicated a higher price than the posted one. In fact, the jeans I chose were marked with a green $5 tag; which is the posted price. However, the second pair of slacks were "up-priced" again, and then she said the same about the jeans that were marked with the $5 tag, she said because they were embellished they would be $12.99 which is 160% more THAN THE ACTUAL TAG ON THEM.

When she did the first one, I was ok, a little bothered on the second, but the third garment in a row I began to really feel that she was judging me, perhaps even discrimination. I am a bit over weight and a mixed race but I cannot fathom why she would think that I needed to pay more than the price posted; as if I wasn't good enough to buy their Donated clothing - much less wear them.

It bothered me all day. I just couldn't shake her behavior. This store is in a ritzy area, and while they say they are helping battered women, its pretty clear that its with the condition of putting up with their privileged arrogance. I survived a violent relationship and I never thought I would see this kind of salted "charity" afforded me today.

Update: I have to disagree with your reply. While there were items on the rack that had price tags that were more than the posted sign, none of the items I chose had that; I wished to keep to a budget. I accepted her reasoning until the third time - in a row. It is common practice to tag items like that in a thrift store when you wish for more money, it is not common to do it while someone is buying them.

This place is awesome! Great ladies volunteering and lots of treasures! Always enjoy finding something special at this shop!

I have always had a very pleasant and even joyful experience while shopping at Womansafe. The workers are funny, light hearted, kind and helpful. The prices are reasonable and the proceeds go to a good cause.

The staff here are amazingly warm and friendly. My mother and I shop here frequently for the best designer wear ever! The shop is very clean, and it’s so relaxing to find such great bargains at a steal.

I love thrift shopping and this is one of the most well-organized ones I have been to. I have found many lovely and useful things here!

It seems they have doubled the space since I was last there! It is like Discovery in Chardon before they moved. Both are for great causes but i really like the layout in this store and the new space!
