The compassion Wood-Kortright showed was beyond my expectations at such a difficult time. My individual time with my loved one meant the world to me and they made that time very special.

Considerate, caring, helpful and well-organized: those terms apply to everyone I've dealt with at Wood-Kortright-Borkoski. Our family was very grateful to Jim McKight and Skip Gray in particular, for making everything happen the way we wanted. My husband's service was beautiful and all who attended told me how nice and how personalized it was. The Wood-Kortright-Borkoski establishment helped to make a difficult time easier for our whole family.

A very good and informal session. We needed time to review our finances to see what program fit our needs best and there was no pressure to do it now!

They were very patient and kind during my time in need. When you are overwhelmed with grief it is hard to think clearly and make good decisions. They explained everything very honestly and clearly. I also give high praise to the person who prepared the appearance of my loved one. I will be recommending everyone I know and don't know to purchase a funeral package from Wood-Kortright-Borkoski. If my loved one had not purchased a package I would have been LOST and OVERWHELMED with the costs and numerous details. Thank you Wood-Kortright-Borkoski for making one of the worst moments of my life something I will be able to look back on with respect instead of regret that I screwed everything up and was not able to provide a dignified and affordable goodbye process for friends and family.

Prior to finding them, I went to another local funeral home and was not comfortable there. I called Wood-Kortright-Borkoski and was able to visit the next day. Aaron was professional, yet compassionate. The facility is beautiful and state of the art. The day of the funeral everything was just as we planned and Aaron and Lou were there for support and care. The luncheon was presented in a professional manner and was delicious.

Nice building, decent service, horrible experience on the financial side. The representative knew nothing about the payment plans and never once had anyone with knowledge of them in with us. Trapped us in a really high interest credit card with trash terms just for a cremation with no service. 3100 plus a thousand in interest total. Grief is not a reason to rip people off.

Dignity and respect is what I was shown during a very difficult time! Without going into personal details, I can assure anyone considering this funeral home, that they truly do care!

Have dealt with them numerous times now over the years from a professional aspect (I've officiated services as a Pastor) and a personal aspect. They have assisted my wife and I in final arrangements for our mothers when they passed and although both services were very different they helped us honor our parents wishes each time with professionalism and compassion.
