Woodsy's Music - Kent Headquarters reviews
6Woodsy's Music in Kent is awesome. The staff are knowledgeable and experienced players. The instructors are good and patient. If you have questions, need repairs, or are looking to buy or get lessons, head to Woodsy's.
If you're looking for the opposite experience of Guitar Center, this is it! Tired of friendly sales people trying to edge you to buy stuff and purchase warranties? Well, this place doesn't care. They would be happier if you just left, you amateur. You wanna check out that instrument? Yeah, whatever. They'll get to you eventually. You want a repair? Well, that'll be twice as much because they're super experienced, unlike those other places. Other places are trash, unlike Woody's. They're professionals, and if you don't like it, go somewhere else.
Excellent sound for Akron's ReaL DeaL show at the Cuyahoga Valley National Park August 14th Thank You Gentlemen
Cool place, but The gentleman working the counter is very unfriendly doesn’t even greet the customers, was going to make a purchase today but I did not. Because he would not help me and seems like he doesn’t want anyone there. I’ve dealt with this a few times now. Just kinda gives you a dirty look when you walk in and doesn’t do anything beyond that.
Probably the best customer service I’ve ever received, ordering online. I’ll be back. Order without fear!
I was searching for a particular Telecaster and found one at a price that seemed too good to be true - and it was supposedly in excellent condition. When I clicked on the link, I was surprised that the seller was Woodsy's. I knew Woodsy's well from my days as a student at nearby Kent State University, and it was the store where my dad once bought an acoustic guitar that became my first beater. Woodsy's shipped my Tele quickly (for free) and it was even better than described. I can't be happier and highly recommend them.
