Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Famcamp, Wright-Patterson AFB OH

Only stayed overnight but the campground was clean and well kept. It is a dog friendly campground and each site had a picnic table.

Very well managed. Good value for the cost. The manager went out of her way to help find us a unreserved campsite when medical problems sent me to the hospital. All sites are on blacktop and level. Laundry is available along with clean restrooms. Fishing lake is very close.

Very easy access for large rigs to get on base. We are 43 ft. Pull thru and back in sites. Full hook ups! Love the dog run and laundry is $3 a load! It's just missing a park for kids. Large grassy area. We are traveling with kiddos and it would have been nice for a place for them. Easy to update to a 5 star review!

Military campground. Great sites. Make sure to follow directions to get to the campground given by the office.

Small lots, and no campfires unless you bring a platform to burn it on. Right by the airstrip, and ammo security point. There will be noise from those sites, but everyone in the campground was very quiet an respectful. The facilities for the bathroom and toilet on site are very nice and clean.

Very nice park and the staff was great. Lots of friendly campers to talk to about their travels.

Camping area is nice but nothing notable special.hook-ups function as they should. No playground nearby for the kiddos.docks at Bass Lake are cordoned off and unusuable.shower house is just ok, I've seen worse & I've seen better.

3rd time visiting—nice place, excellent for bike riding, full hookups. Away from all shopping.

We spent 3 nights here with our family of 6, in our new RV. Great hook ups.
It's very beautiful and green.
Very quiet. Lots of older couples camp there.
It was a good thing we brought our kayaks. It's right by the lake. But my kids and other's were very disappointed that you can swim.
Wish we would have brought our bikes and/or scooters.

Great facility with an even better staff. Clean and well cared for. I will use this place every time I'm in the area.

Arrived today and are amazed at how large the base is. Tomorrow we will see the air force museum, so update later. The Fam Camp is beautiful, well maintained and the camp hostess is very helpful.

Very clean and quite campground. The just adding huge new dog park. The only issue is it's WAY in the back of the base, it's a 12 minute drive to the front gate. Not too bad being that this is really the only good place to stay that's in the area. If you want a spot you need to book months in advance. It stays full staring in April until Sept/Aug.

The camp is okay. Limited spots with sewer. Others are power and water only. The manager is kinda rude and unfriendly. Having stayed at many fam camps, this is the first one where the managers have an attitude. They told us they were booked up for hookups but there are spots that have been empty for days. I don't know the story on that. Maybe they hold them open if they are paid even though they are a no show.

First, let me suggest that anyone looking for an awesome place to stay, look no further!
I rarely give five stars to any business. However, the minute we pulled up, I was greeted by a kind man. Not only did he not laugh hysterically at me because it took me three tries to back in the travel trailer (with his instruction) but he gave me suggestions and then three other men came to assist. They helped me level the trailer and gave helpful suggestions.
The trip has been extremely stressful and I traveled with my daughter, plus dogs. I have to say, this RV park is clean, has all the services I need, to include but not limited, close to stores, golfing, and has overflow parking. The grass is clean of any debris or animal droppings. The neighbors were kind and helpful.
All I can say at this point is WOW! Great job Fam Camp WPAFB! Not only will I send recommendations your way but I will continue to stay here in the future.
