Yala's Pizzeria / Fran’s Pizza reviews
27Very incompetent staff. They people answering the phone don't know what is on their menu. Twice got our entie order wrong. I was given a $20 credit after the screw up and the incompetent of the staff ticked me off in the 1st 30 seconds of the call and had to hang up. I don't even know if we will use it since they can't hire good help.
Husband and I totally enjoy this pizza. I don't know what to say except that it's an tasty fresh enjoyable Pizza no chef boyardee here!
I love Yalas - THE BEST PIZZA AROUND! My favorite is the FRENCH BREAD PIZZA- It is so AWESOME!
First time having pizza from here. Everything was delicious. I ordered the BBQ cx pizza and I loved it. My wife and daughter ordered a pepperoni and mushroom with garlic butter. Both loved their pizza. My mother-in-law ordered a double cheese and she said she enjoyed it. I cannot wait to introduce my father-in-law to this pizza. I like it way better then marcos, def better then little ceasars, and I possibly like it more then dominos. We will definitely be back.now I just have to figure out what pizza to try next.
Pizza is decent if you're really into cheese, it's very greasy and over priced. Service was not so great. Will not be ordering again.
It was love at first bite! Everyone has been telling me to try Yala's pizza and the fam finally did! Two thumbs up and definitely 5 stars! Very delicious and we will be back
I cannot believe Yala's just served up the worst pizza & Subs On Super Bowl Night!
And the Ball Headed Man who took my money through the Drive Through should be ashame, cause he checked it and still served it up.
I don't take kind to a money hungry Company's and this is how I'm left feeling on a night of Celebrating the Super Bowl! Is there a way to share a picture of what our money paid for tonight. Never again
Just great pizza in town. If you order extra cheese, you'll HAVE extra cheese. Good flavor. No complaints
A pretty standard pizza. The dough was good and the crust was nice and crispy, topped with cheese. The cheese itself was a little disappointing however. Enjoyably, but not preferable. 2.2 stars.
Pizza is very good. It's a popular place so the drive thru gets pretty backed up. I give it 5 stars for the Pizza because it deserves it. What I don't give high marks for is how upper management speaks to the employees. I get it's considered a "fast paced meal" type place because you call ahead and are given a time to come pick it up. And I also get that some kids these days (or the age range that were working there when I was picking up my order) just don't have quite the same work ethic that those of us over 30 might. BUT, what I don't get is LOUDLY REPRIMANDING your workers within ear shot of everyone waiting inside. Management should be professional enough not to broadcast the mistakes of an individual for everyone to hear.
Aside from that, the pizza is very good!
I ordered a barbecue chicken pizza I repeated the order twice picked up my order I saw chicken so I thought it was the correct pizza and that the toppings were under the chicken the pizza I received was chicken cheese and pizza sauce I called Yalas to let them know I received the wrong pizza the manager insisted that the person who gave me my order repeated the pizza back to me he asked for my name I told the manager I am not driving back to get another pizza I would be fine with her compensating me at another time and that I have my elderly mother and am not taking her back out she refused and said I can make another one I told her my mother is 93years old and I am not taking her back out to get another pizza she told me there is nothing she can do that is poor customer service I normally like Yalas and after this horrible experience I will not go back. Apparently customer service is not important to them if I could give them less than 1 star they would have definitely received it.
I like my toppings on top of cheese. There's is under. Good thing the extra cheese is really EXTRA cheese
Use to eat their pizza years ago but they moved across town Glad to see their still as gopd as i rembered
I called on a Friday night to complain about a pizza that we ordered which was burnt and cold. We were refused a refund and offered a store credit instead. Apparently, the manager who was informed about the incident (I only talked to an employee that night as the manager refused to get on the phone), did not record my complaint in the books on 8/16/19 so when I called back on 8/18 to order a pizza for my son, who has been having trouble eating, no manager would honor that promise. I spoke to one manager over the phone and I had to nearly beg to speak with her and she was very rude with a careless and unapologetic tone when she did finally get on the phone. I overheard her telling Ken, the store manager, that she remembered the incident on Friday, but she was unsure of how it was resolved. ONLY AFTER, I told them that I was going to inform people and certain establishments around Lorain about their service, did Ken offer me a $7 credit for a pizza that I paid $14.50 for! I then explained that I had bank records of paying $14.50 for the pizza along with pictures of how terribly it was made and asked why they were refusing to keep their word. Ken, told me that he was “being generous” by offering a $7 credit.after I persisted he told me that he could not offer a full credit because we didn’t “return the pizza” BUT we were NEVER asked to! They basically held their unprofessionalism against me!
Even if they had asked me to return the pizza, I have a son with autism and I cannot just take pizza away from him once he had seen the box because he would not understand and be highly upset! They should be more considerate of their customers and not even expect that all people can easily return a pizza that they didn’t make correctly. They need to start taking FULL responsibility for their mistakes! And the fact that all but one very rude manager refused to speak on the phone with me both Friday & Sunday is terrible customer service! I went to the establishment to get the owner’s number because they refused to give me any way to contact the owner, and hesitated to give me their name (s) over the phone, Ken turned his back to me & walked away while I was speaking to him!
I stopped ordering from Yala’s for 3 months because of a poor costumer service experience that I had there in May 2019, and I am truly sorry that I gave them another chance to jip & upset my family!
Yala's is my favorite pizza of all time. Coming back from Chicago or Boston to visit, it's always on my list to grab some Yala's with the family.
This pizza parlor is a hidden gem. The cheese, the way they line up the toppings, and the perfect amount of grease that lets you know you're eating the unhealthy comfort food you came here for. My favorite combination is pepperoni and sliced sausage. Try it. You will not be disappointed.
Good pizza but (and through no fault of their own) the place was chaos on a Friday night with a line outside the door and the drive thru packed.
Love it! Pizza is always excellent! If you don't care for greasy pizza though, then you may not like it, but we love it!
Not thrilled with a thick deep dish style pizza and the garlic butter white sauce had no flavor. We'll try it again and see what happens
This place makes the best pie I have had in all of Ohio. The secret is in the dough, amongst many things, which puts this place above all the others. I've tried them from Cincinnati to Toledo and Columbus (don't get me started), this is the best.
