My partner and I hired Chris to do our home inspection on our first home we recently purchased. I feel he did a tremendous job, was extremely thorough. The inspection uncovered a few minor things, like leaky garbage disposal and what not. When the appraiser came in, he also found only the same issues, so we know that the inspection was conducted professionally, timely, and in accordance with expectation. I will definitely hire Chris again in the future for all of my home inspections.

We hired Chris twice. He was very professional, kind, responsive, and on time to both inspections, but the quality of the inspection has shown to be a disappointment.

The first home inspection was incredible. He was very thorough and found some flaws that helped us decide not to purchase the home.

We hired him again for the home we bought and have now lived in for almost two months.

There have been issues such as the stove having the temp scale numbers rubbed off and the oven not being able to reach over 400 degrees Fahrenheit which we said he could have possibly missed, but the two red flags that were a shock and major disappointment for the money we’ve spent with him are the hot water not working in our main shower and now the furnace being torched to the point where the air filter is BLACK within FOUR DAYS of changing it.and no, we don’t have pets. I’m far from a professional in this field, but how are those missed during a home inspection?

I hope at the very least he learns from this so no one else has to buy their first home and within 1.5 months, be peppered with over $12,000 in costs for such serious obstacles that they didn’t see coming.
