Zamarelli's Pizza Palace, Grove City OH

Customer beware, online it says that they take debit cards, they wait for you to get there to pick up your order and then expect you to leave to go to an atm to bring them cash, and not the most polite about it either, they will just say we've never taken debit cards, not good for new customers, i was fine to leave and take my money elsewhere, won't be back.

I'd like to adress the cons first. Very little parking, which isn't a huge issue, but sometimes this place gets slammed. The next issue is that they are cash only. I always forget till I'm on my way to pick up the pies lol.

Pros: Best pizza in Ohio. It is a greasy pizza too, which isn't some people's cup of tea. I personally love it though. Do yourself a favor and try this place.

This is the second "all the way "pizza that has no sauce on it or the sauce has been watered down. Very disappointed and that is why I only gave it 3 stars.

This place is a gem! If you haven't had Zamarellis you are missing out. Get the pizza, any pizza it will be great.

The basics: this is a take out place, and you will need to pay in cash. As soon as you walk in you know you are helping a small business. The restaurant smells amazing and you will leave hungry with your food in tow.

Service is great, very friendly and casual.

Didn't try it- but a gluten friendly crust is available if you have diet restrictions.

First of all the last one the phone didn’t tell me they only take cash so when I got there I had to dig out all the money I had to pay for it. Then once I got my pizza the box was thin and covered in grease and I noticed the place needs a serious update looks dirty and disgusting inside. When I got home I had asked for peppers on the pizza and no sausage put the pizza was covered in sausage and no peppers the pizza was chewy and tasted like grease I will not be eating here again

Gave it another shot tonight. Very pleasantly surprised! Pepperoni pizza, was delicious! Only 35 minute wait and staff was friendly! Best part pizza was very good!

This is for some reason a Grove City fav but I honestly don't get it. I think most of you are just afraid to try another. I tried it again tonight after not having it for about 20 years. I remember why I haven't had it. 45 minute wait for a pickup, dehydrated onions? ! I'm sorry I don't get it, very bland.

The best pizza place in Grove City. Prices are good and they treat everyone with great respect.

The best pizza in town. The recipes taste the same as 55 years ago when my dad brought pizza home after bowling!

A Grove City staple. Zamarelli’s is a unique pizza experience. If you’ve lived in Grove City for any length of time, you’ll love Zamarelli’s. Still the same for 60 years. They only accept cash.

Sauce is excellent was a little crispy for my preference the place is hopping but not a madhouse busy! Fair warning their cash only!

This is an amazing old school cash only carry out pizza joint. Everyone is so nice and the pizza is awesome! Sausage and mushroom is my go-to.

Really charming little place. Staff is very friendly, and seem to know every customer that comes in. Pizza was a solid 8/10. Very generous with toppings, but the crust was a little dry for me personally. Would probably give them 5-stars, but prices on their website do not match prices charged at the cash-only shop

Ive tried almost every pizza place in the greater Columbus metro area. Zami's is the best pizza around! My family has been eating it since they opened in the 70's. Pep and sausage is my fav!

A customer was upset about them showing up and zam not taking credit card. Well apparently they didn't read the menu, it states cash only and has been that way for ever, to that customer, learn to read

The pizza has gone downhill over the past year and I'm not sure why. They only accept cash so don't go by the menu prices they post online. I arrived and they charged me more than the listed price. I asked why and the owner claims the website is not for his business and he has nothing to do with it. I don't care about the extra couple of dollars but. I do care about misinforming the public.

Called in an order. Arrived and told they don’t take cards. Was told I could go across the street to the ATM. It’s 2022. Being in business and not taking the most commonly accepted payment is just bad business. Won’t return.
