Zappitelli's Pizza, Pasta & Parm, Mentor OH

We had never been to Zappitelli's but had a gift certificate friends gave us for our anniversary, so we thought we'd try it out. The place was packed, and while we waited for our table, we struck up a conversation with others in the waiting area. Everyone said how much they loved the food, and when we finally got our table, we were believers. The food was so good, and there was enough for us to take home for dinner again the next day. We had canolli for dessert, which was very good. Service was excellent, and the whole staff really hustled. We're definitely planning on going back soon.

Hands down the best Italian food in northeast Ohio. From the homemade pasta, sauce, pizzas, cannolis. Everything on the menu is excellent!

Excellent service. It's awesome that they're open on Mondays for dinner! Many restaurants are closed on Mondays! The food was delicious, with plenty for the next day lunch. I recommend the lasagna with meatballs! Finish off your meal with the best chocolate dipped cannolis in town!

Love the flavors! Had the eggplant special, and it was amazing! So much pasta it makes 2 small meals for lunch. Will be back again to try the pizza, it looks good.

I don't know what you people are thinking. The pizza crust is DISGUSTING. Soft, sweet and tasteless. I threw my pieces out. I have always told people that you have the best pizza ever. Forget that. I will not be back for pizza.

Great place to eat. Have been here many times and the food is always great. Portions are big and service is friendly. How can I forget the desserts. The Cannoli are amazingly delicious

Looks like nothing from the outside, inside small and homey but the food is great quality, large portions and the servers always super friendly. If it's busy, just wait. It's worth it.

The food is amazing and the portions are huge! Everything was fresh and very tasty. The staff is very friendly. I had the lunch special of sausage and peppers. It came with a wonderful crisp cold side salad and rolls plus a huge helping of spaghetti. Enough for at least 2 meals!

Fantastic food! The red sauce is absolutely amazing. One of our best favorite places to eat. High quality, delicious food at very reasonable prices!

Probably the best Italian restaurant in Lake county or maybe even northeast Ohio. The chicken parmesan is incredible. Huge portion sized meals! No disappointments here try it

Soggy pizza, flavorless meatballs, dry complementary rolls, and overpriced potato gnocchi.

Server did not know who ordered what when she brought out and said oh well you can figure it out.
Atmosphere draw in an older crowd, not a young family atmosphere restaurant.

The bathroom was not clean and directly off of dining room door wide open, which did not make for an appetizing environment.

No wheelchair parking, no wheelchair accessible entrance, no wheelchair booths or table.

No lunch menu.

Thumbs down, would not recommend, will not be going back.

Really good food, very reasonable prices. We went Friday night, 20 minutes before closing and they were very accommodating. The meatballs were great!

We drive 30+ minutes to get here. The pasta is delicious and the portions are HUGE! I can get 3 meals from the angel hair and meatballs and it reheats wonderfully.

Very doughy pizza. Even if you ask them to cook it well done. It used to be the best in town.

I always wish the restaurant was bigger and the checkout process was less complicated. The whole place needs to be reconfigured. But the food is outstanding so I don't care!

This was my first time at Zappitelli's - but it will not be my last! I used them to pre order some pizza's and meatballs and sausage with cavatelli to take to my daughters for a visit. The food was amazing -and it was enjoyed by all who ate it. As a side note- the lady taking care of us did not like the look of one of the pizza's - and she had us wait to have another prepared. However, ALL the pizza's were delicious. This will be my new go to restaurant. I highly recommend you try it! Service was great!

You're like dining with family and friends, and the food tastes homemade like moms. The sauce is amazing, and the portions are generous. Excellent variety of food options to choose from. Bon Appétit.
