FlashBack RetroPub OKC reviews
17 Went on a cold Saturday. Great place! High quality and legitimate bar with well placed and serviced retro arcade games. Games are free and there's a small cover to get in. Invisible stamp for re-entry. Named alcoholic drinks that go with the theme. Plenty of workers.
Ideal for a date or with many friends.
I would add snacks or food though.
Lots of old arcade games like Mortal Kombat, Marvel vs Capcom, Tekken, etc. Good music. Good drinks. Definitely felt like a kid again. They even gave giant Connect 4. Wish I had known about it sooner.
Always have a great time here! The drinks are yummy. We tried a mango beer with a Tajín rim and it was delicious! Can never get enough of these awesome arcade games. Great place for date night or chill night by yourself or friends. Bartender was super friendly 10/10
Like O M G! The best $5 I've ever spent in my life. I couldn't play every game in there, there were that many games. My friends and I had sooo much fun. Bringing back memories that I thought were gone for good, but nope. Flashback arcade brought them back. Just bring some friends $5, and your appetite for video games, and you're gonna have an amazing time.
$5 to get in and play games
Plastic shotglasses are smaller than a children's Tylenol serving cup for $9 each. Would be nice for snack or bar food options, maybe I missed the menu.
Free play arcade games, skeeball, connect four, and a well stocked bar make this an excellent place to pop in and spend a few hours.
This bar is great
You pay a $5 cover fee
ALL OF THE GAMES ARE FREE
You can play as many as you want, games range from Galaga, Super Mario Cart to Connect 4. They have a live DJ on one side of the bar. On the other side they show 80s music videos.
I do want to let you know that drinks can be a bit expensive. Pay attention to the specials as they do not have one on Friday night.
Anyways games have been shown to increase bonding between individuals at an accelerated rate. And drinking can do the same.
If you’re on a date take your GF here!
We had so much fun playing all the cool video games! Some we had never seen before and some were a fun reminder of the past! AND they were all free!
This place has really expanded! Lots of new games! Jay was great! Even watched him politely handle a very disruptive customer.
I gave this place 3 out of 5 stars. I am an 80's kid at heart and this place is a great concept, but most arcade games have shotty screens and if your into weird beer or fruity nerds drinks, then this place is for you. 1 beer cost me $7, after he first said $5, no $6, I meant $7 and I was like really? He didn't know the prices or was just ripping me off! Worth checking out, but probably won't ever go back.
$5 cover charge because of the free game play. The guys working the door tried to charge us twice. Purchased a purple rain drink $9, it was good but in a small glass.
This place is awesome ️ I had a blast here. Definitely a blast of the past️ Great for a date or just hanging out with your friends. Must be 21. All the drinks are named after popular 80's movies and they have a great variety of video games from Pac Man to Skee Ball?
I bet much love that they've expanded and added so much more! We had a blast finally getting a chance to beat the old school games that would take a millionaire's fortune in quarters to beat! Finally beat that Simpsons game! Skee ball is a great addition and had fun with old school Street Fighter. Only complaints are that the joysticks have been manhandled by drunks who don't know their own strength which leaves them unresponsive on some games and their AC isn't so great. But overall a very fun place with great music and great aesthetic!
Such a awesome place 5 to get in and then all the games are free and really good drinks it will really bring you make to the 80 and 90's
One of the best barcades I've been to in the Midwest. Cover charge is anywhere from $5-$10 per person or a 2 drink minimum which is so convenient because that's all you have to worry about! (No counting nickles or dimes) They also take fantastic care of their machines and include drink holders on them (finally!). The bartenders there are speedy and the cocktail menu is super cute. I would say it is a bit expensive for the amount of alcohol and size of cups but some include candy and whatnot. My favorite part is also how friendly everyone is there. Anyone is typically more than happy to have you join them.
I've been several times and loved it. This time, the experience wasn't as great. My date and I went straight to the pinball machines. All 3 were broke. We went to the skeeball (they only have 2) and 1 was broke. We then went to the Sea Wolf game (some nostalgia) and it was broke. We played some connect 4 (the oversize sets like you see in bars) and then some pacman. Then walked around and tried Dig Dug, but it was also broke. We played some Golden Axe. Then we went back to the basketball machine and it was also broke. So 70% of the machines we grabbed were not working. I don't know if this is the new norm or if it was a fluke night, but our interest in returning definitely took a hit.
So we came here twice. First experience was amazing! The second we were there for 20 minutes and left bc our drinks were thrown away within LEGIT 1 minute of putting it down. (I put it in the cup holder next to my machine bc the arcade game I was playing didn't have one &I died on the game within 1 minute, go to pick up my drink right next to me and it was gone. No one in site.) So yeah that was very disappointing and just killed the vibe.
