24 Hour Fitness, Tigard OR

Worst 24 experience of my life, I’m not sure if it’s racial discrimination, or because my friend and I had never been to the location before. I have been a member with 24 hour fitness for over 7 years, I have never been treated as a lier before at a gym until coming to the Tualitin location. I called 2 hours prior and asked about a guest pass for my friend, the guy on the phone (who I found out was the manager later, great guy btw, he said I didn’t have a guest pass but would give me one for a day for my friend, solid) said to come on in and we’re good to go, we get there and a Indian appearing lady with black hair, along with a half black guy with a cross tattooed behind his ear gave us a very hard time and told us our guest pass was denied and that “they don’t do that”. So basically treated me (as a Christian) like I’m sum kind of lier, we drove from Wilsonville and they were vehemently certain we were not telling the truth and it showed, after making us wait I specifically told the guy “how many male employees are working? Bring ‘em all down and we’ll get to the bottom of this, as a Christian I will not tolerate any discrimination or disrespect whatsoever, so he told me he’d get the manager, without an apology or explanation we signed in, unbelievable, the 2 could not take any accountability and treated me and the homie like 2nd class citizens, FxUxCxK that location, be prepared to be treated as less then, if they haven’t personally seen you before, I am up here from out of town and am extremely disappointed, shame on the both of you, Mr. Manager you were awesome and I highly appreciate the guest pass, keep your dogs in check.

I’ll give the gym 2 stars. THE BATHROOMS ARE DISCUSSING. I see the same people vacuum the same isles 3-4 times in the hour I’m on the treadmill. I’d like to see the bathroom get cleaned as much as they vacuum

I'll preface this by saying I'm no neat freak or germophobe. But,
I'm here all the time and it's getting more and more painful. The bathrooms are DISGUSTING. The men's room the other day had no hand soap whatsoever and that's really great for a gym. I feel like disposing of my shoes after using the urinal. I've been a regular here since it opened as a Lance Armstrong Sport and I'm getting really upset by the lack of cleanliness. I'm only giving it 2 stars because the equipment while dirty, is abundant.

This guy's are the best! All the staff are informative and friendly! Strongly recommend this Gym! ️

This is a great club to belong to, with long open hours, excellent and clean water facilities (pool, jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna), and good classes included in the membership.

It's a good gym, has everything you need to get the job done. Used to come here on a regular basis.

August 2022 - Rating change from two stars to three

It's been more than two years since my last review. Happy to report that some things have improved!

The pool/sauna have been renovated & there is always sanitizing spray and paper towels available for wiping down equipment.

Unfortunately, this is a dirty, dirty gym. I'm not sure they have anyone who cleans the gym anymore. The floors don't look like they ever get vacuumed.

Dirt & hair aside, I appreciate this gym being open 24/7 & they now provide wi-fi.

THANK YOU FOR BEING OPEN 24 HOURS IN A ROW AND ON A USELESS PROPAGANDA HOLIDAY LIKE THE 4th OF JULY. (nice parade Chicago)

Gym is nice, lots of equipment, great staff but the sauna is gross and smells bad and was luke warm

This is an excellent choice, especially for the area that is decidedly sparse of gyms. LA Fitness increased their prices over the pandemic and is really cramped and Bay Sport adds an extra zero at the end of their price tag.

This gym is spacious, lots of room between the equipment, lots of squat racks, plenty of cable machines, treadmills, elliptical, etc.

The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because there isn’t a childcare option. My wife would have joined up, too, if we had the option of dropping our child off for an hour to work out.

Staff is so friendly, pool and spa is well-lit and taken care of diligently, and studio is a large, comfortable space for classes. Very happy with this location (McEwan Rd, Tigard/Lake Oswego).

This has been my fav 24 hour in the Portland area. The staff are incredible, it's always clean here and the peak busy times are terrible. The gym is big and has lots of squat racks compared to other gyms I've been to. And I'm so happy it's 24 hours now!

Wonderful Hot Tub and a lot of extra equipment that the other locations don't have, staff is chill.
. But.
The SHOWERS are worse than prison showers. And i can say that from personal knowledge.
So.great gym, just shower elsewhere. ‍️

Everytime i go to 24h fitness, nobody is wearing masks. Like 50% of patrons not wearing or wearing improperly. I legit feel like I'm gonna get covid here with all these people huffing and puffing and coughing and grunting their germs into the air. And then today I went to the Circuit Climbing Gym like 3 mins away, and guess what? Everyone was wearing masks, and properly too. Not a single exception. Maybe thats because their staff enforce the mandate with a no tolerance policy. It's night and day. You will not be safe at this gym.

This gym refuses to enforce the mask mandate. More people were not wearing masks properly than were. When I asked management they acted like I was the problem.

Very friendly staff. Unfortunately this gym is just poor quality. The pool area has tons of mold growing in every corner near the windows. Also the sauna and steam rooms are disgusting look like they haven’t been cleaned or serviced in months if not years. Absolutely gross I have no clue how management would let this disgusting stuff pile up. Nice location but terrible management
