I enjoy coming to this place to see all the animals. Some stuff is a little overpriced but I blame inflation other then that I love coming here. We also purchase crickets, worms, roaches, treats for our dogs, cat, geckos, bearded dragon and hamster from here and they are cheaper them Petco! Such a great store. I will always come here!

The Owners Bob and Christen are truly there for their customers. Humble and honest people.

Went with my 2 kids and they were so excited and the people at the store were so PATIENCE and nice to them. We bought our fish supplies and we will definitely be coming back!

I love this place. The staff is always helpful if the don't know the answer they look it up. I have been going to them for over 20 years. A great family owned business.

Employees are nice it's good if you want to get some fish but it's in desperate need of a remodeled the ceiling was leaking onto the floor when I went in there

The staff here are always friendly and helpful. Wide array of pets, fish, lizards, birds, snakes, cats, bunnies, etc. Lots of supplies available.

Sold us ich infested angelfish. Employee was entirely disinterested when ich was pointed out in a different tank from the angels. We should have recognized the red flag, but we didn’t.

I absolutely love this place. They have a great selection of pet supplies for both conventional pets & tank dwelling pets. Their prices are reasonable and competitive. The staff has always been very polite and helpful.
Since finding A to Z Pets, I've not needed to step foot into one of the large chain pet supply stores & I prefer to keep it that way.

I searched everywhere in Portland and couldn't find the dog collar I wanted. Came in here and looked around. Didn't see what I wanted. As I was leaving, Bob stopped me and asked me if he could find anything for me. I told him what I wanted and he went right over and dug it out from a shelf. He even opened it up so we could measure and make sure it worked. Great guy and a well stocked store.

Small business, we have always had a positive experience here. We go in often for snake food and always love looking at the selection of animals available at any given time.

I came here today to buy a betta fish. I have another betta at home, who is an incredible fish, very smart and characteristic. The bettas that I saw at A-Z were in some of the most inhumane conditions that I’ve ever seen any animal in. Small cups with water that was at least a week old, no air in the top of the cup for them to take a breath and little human interaction. Common, well known facts about betta fish are that they need at least 5 gallon tanks, they breathe atmospheric air as well as air from the water, and they are capable of and enjoy human interaction. The fish were lethargic, laying motionless on the bottom of the container. When I placed my hand near the cups, the fish that first appeared dead started to move. The fish had such little energy that they were unable to follow my finger to the top of their containers, therefore preventing them from being able to reach any atmospheric air that should be there. Their movements expressed a form of excitement that was begging for rescue. Fish are extremely intelligent animals who are able to count, use tools, and recognize common faces. The owners and employees of this store are cruel and neglectful. The mistreatment of any animal, even a fish, is unacceptable.

The best pet shop out there! The owner is super nice and the staff are so friendly, everyone here has knowledge and experience with any pet. We will always come to this place.

Old school pet store that is huge and stocked with great stuff at great prices. Staff is knowledgeable about the products and helpful when you are looking for something specific but you are not sure it exists. (For example; I needed kibble for my doberman that meets breed specific nutritional needs) excellent inventory for all kinds of critters!

They have always had everything I need. One stop shop for all my pets needs. Only place I go. And I'm willing to travel miles just to come here.

I can't even begin to say how Great these people are, they brought back a long lost Hobby. I started a Beautiful Tank with the Most Beautiful Fish Love these guys. I buy EVERYTHING from them it's a 1 stop shop.

Upon meeting one of the owners he spent a great deal of time guiding me through the process of my pond and the new fish I was going to place in it. Extremely knowledgeable and from what I can see they have everything that you're going to need for your pets. Me I have a bearded dragon two German Shepits and four chickens. I would suggest to anyone that this pet store has knowledgeable staff and from what I can see pretty much everything you'll need for your pets. Can't say enough about this place.
