Ace Hardware reviews
9 Always had good service. Quite often go there for this and that, easier than going into Portland. Good spot to get keys cut.
There's a pharmacy in it (same entrance).
Good selection. Got the wrong person to make keys the last time. Had to go back several times.
Thoroughly enjoy the staff here, and they usually have what we need without having to drive out to a bigbox store.
The young man that helped me find an item to bury my pet in was the most compassionate young man I could have asked for! Thank you!
Normal Ace store. Not as well stocked as in a bigger town and pretty expensive but great to have nearby in a pinch. An older male employee made a rude remark to my girlfriend for wearing a mask in your store. She has health complications and I hope your staff can set their politics aside and be respectful of customers- or at least keep their mouths shut.
Helpful and friendly staff, good selection, competitive prices. You can't ask for anything more from a local hardware store.
Okay so when it comes to Ace Hardware I am very on the fence. On one hand they are overpriced. Also there are specific items within a category that they do not keep stocked. I'm talking bicycle gear and filters for furnaces. That is just a couple of examples. On the other hand I have a crush on a girl that works there so I really look forward to shopping there and have even bough overpriced things I didn't necessarily need just so I could find excuse to talk to her. I haven't tiled her how I felt but I have somewhat hinted in ways that would leave it open for her to drop a signal if she was in any way interested and she hasn't so that kinda sucks. But I still shop there cuz she has an energy about her that totally gives off positive vibes. Unless you have a crush on an employee it may not be worth shopping there. 3 years since I posted that but things haven't changed much. They have upgraded their Stihl inventory which is pretty snazzy. And that girl doesn't work there ànymoe so naturally my trips are not as frequent
Far better than the Saint Helen's store You don't get Followed around and asked a million times if you need help with something.scappoose ace hardware It's my choice store if I have to go to one
I have lost all respect for the "big box stores " and Ace Hardware is a great alternative. They are located in the community so I don't have to go far. They have a good variety of merchandise and the staff is friendly and helpful. I would recommend Ace Hardware, check out your local store.
