Travis has excellent customer service skills at the counter! Very knowledgeable mechanics, great, friendly staff all around! I don't trust many shops with my Toyota but I've been going here for years and never once had a problem. They address the problem promptly and professionally and get you back on the road. Ive trusted them with everything from a simple oil change or an alignment to putting in a new transmission.

We are vanners traveling from AZ- We have a 2018 Ram Promaster 2500. We stopped to get an oil change at a dealer on the way here and were told we had drops that were probably transmission fluid but that it was mostly likely something minor and safe to continue on to Oregon. We were advised to have it serviced once we arrived and when we got here we parked it for a few weeks.

When I moved the van I noticed dripping on the driveway. I called the dealer and was told that they didn't have any service openings until January 2023- a 3 month wait. They had "drop-ins" but that meant we would have to leave our van- which is also our home-for 3 weeks before they would even be able to get around to looking at it to figure out what was wrong.

I did a search and found Action Auto. All of the reviews are awesome but one in particular stood out- a person had 2 vehicles that their dealer said needed 5-6k in repairs. That person brought both vehicles to Action, and got the repairs for hundreds- not thousands. I filed out their online form and received a call in less than 2 hours. Travis was thorough, informed, interested, asked all the right questions and made no promises. That was Tuesday. We took the van in at 9: 30am on Thursday. He called in less than 2 hours to tell us what they'd discovered, how much parts would be, and that they'd have it done by 4: 30. Yes, the same day!

Not only was it incredibly reasonable- we were happy to pay their price but It was also finished by 4! When we got there Travis showed me all of the damaged parts, was complete in his explanation and as a side note has THE best customer engagement manner.

I know exactly how we incured the damage. We live offgrid. Our roads are atrocious. His explanation was honest and with no run around. We know he didn't do it all by himself,   there's an awesome team whirring behind the scenes, thank you to those folks too!

We would give more than 5 stars if we were able to!

Travis and the team at Action Auto Repair are wonderful! They are always flexible and get me in quickly, they are very honest people and know exactly what they are doing. I will NEVER go anywhere else.

I paid for a diagnostic of a wheel shimmy and check engine light. After i got the printout, I ordered the parts needed to do what repairs i could by myself. When I got under my car I found that both cv axles needed replaced but that wasn't noticed by mechanic.
UPDATED REVIEW: Action respectfully reached out, addressed my concerns and went above and beyond to make it right. I found my trusty mechanic, thanks for the follow up and caring for your customers, I will be back.

Travis is the service writer and he is awesome. The shop has never done me wrong g in anyway. They have always been straight with me and fixed whatever issue u have had the first time right. They even go over the car each time I have gone in to be sure there are no other safety or maintenance issues I have to concern myself with. I will always take my vehicles there.unless I have to take them to the dealership because of warranty stuff.which I hate doing.

I have been a customer here twice. Both times I was treated well and had my questions and concerns addressed to my satisfaction. The best part is that I got a call about a month after having my truck serviced and they asked if my truck was doing ok and if I had any issues pop up after the services they performed. Such a good experience and I definitely recommend them!

I Have had all my vehicles serviced and repaired there for several years now. I don't usually write reviews but Travis does such a great job of keeping you informed and explaining about potential of upcoming issues and or repairs that you just know you can trust them.

This is the most honest best Auto Shop in Medford Oregon for sure. Another shop in Crater Lake Highway told me to sell my wife's car and my Dodge truck because it would cost me $2000 to $3000 to fix each one. Dusty's transmission which is also a great place, told me that Action Auto was a good place with honest people. I took both our car and my truck to them, and for a few hundred dollars each, they now run fantastic. I love Travis and his family. I don't have to junk them or waste lots of money on a new car or truck, because Action brought them back to life. Some places only care about taking your money, but this place actually cares about the customers. I would recommend Action Auto Repair of Medford to anyone wanting to get their auto or truck worked on. Don't gamble with you vehicle with deceptive repair places.
