Our 2 years at ALC have left us with great memories. Thank you!
When we were looking for a daycare/ preschool situation (during COVID of all times) we had already had our negative experiences with daycare/preschools.
Those experiences gave us a reference by which we could measure and evaluate our experience with ALC… and for us you are an A+… you are 5 stars ️️️️️.
The list of appreciations would be voluminous so we will list the most primary.
Miss Pearl was ALWAYS available for any concerns or questions we may have had concerning our child. She always updated us on a daily basis about our child’s day.
The staff was not only attentive to our kid but every child. Many times we would see a child who maybe was having some emotional difficulties that day… the staff would be comforting them and were always giving that child the extra attention they may have needed. We NEVER had any concerns about neglect nor abuse…
Many times it seemed like they had eyes in the back of their heads… the staff was aware of everything going on and gave appreciations and corrections as needed in an age appropriate manner.
The school was ALWAYS clean … (and we have high standards.)
The activities were diverse and interesting…
Precautions were always followed regarding safety.
The meals and snacks are healthy with offerings from the season.
We were there when there was a staff change over… and Ms Pearl vetted each person and trained them very thoroughly for their positions.
Miss Pearl is very highly trained and educated in the field of childcare!
And has always followed the state mandates, rules and guidelines.
Thank you for making our experience of these years so memorable and beautiful….

My daughter has been going to ALC for almost 4 years now and has thrived in the environment that the lovely teachers have created there. The staff here have become like a second family to my daughter and me. My daughter is on the spectrum and all the staff have been so wonderful, caring, and supportive of both her and myself. The staff go above and beyond everyday to ensure the safety of the children in their care, I am notified of everything that my child has done throughout the day and of any kind of mishaps that have happened, even if my child so much as stubs her toe, they let me know about it. I would recommend ALC to any parents who are looking to send their child to an actual licensed and certified daycare.

My son attended the ALC for the last two years starting in Aug 2021. The level of care has been nothing short of outstanding. Ms. Pearl and her staff treat my son like one of their own. It has been so fun to watch him grow into a kind and curious child. He loves the nature room, the backyard, and playing the musical instruments. I love how often the children are outside and the emphasis on play and social emotional learning. I feel so fortunate to have found a home away from home there.

The social and emotional learning at this center was on point! I’m so impressed with the positive impact on my child’s well being!:)

ALC is by far one of my favorite child care centers in the valley. I looked high and low to find the perfect place for my sweet girl and let me tell you, I did not settle easily. After touring multiple facilities, scouring reviews, asking for references, weeks of communicating with different providers, the choice for me was clear. Active Learning Center has always gone above and beyond to provide care that is above the normal standard. I found family in the staff there and I can not put into words how special the crew at ALC has become to me. If you are looking for a clean, safe, nurturing environment, where your kiddos can grow and learn and thrive, I absolutley recommend Active Learning Center. I wanted a space where I could trust my most precious loved one would be able to spend the day and receive the same thought, care, and kindness I would be providing myself. ALC met that standard and every other childcare need I could have asked for. 10/10 experience for my family.

My son went here for two years, beginning at two and a half years old. Our family cannot say enough good things about Ms. Pearl and her staff. A daycare becomes a huge part of your and your child's life, and I wholeheartedly recommend Ms. Pearl and her great staff at the ALC.

Active Learning Center and Preschool is absolutely the best! As some who worked there (I do not anymore as I’ve moved) AND had my children enrolled (kiddos are school age now) - I can attest to the amazing care and love that is poured into all kids thee on the daily bases. As far as I’m concerned- there is no better place to bring your child to learn and grow. The director cares deeply about every aspect of the center and does everything to provide nothing but the best- from meals to curriculum to fun hands on learning activities. As someone who worked there for a while, i appreciate the fact that my children were receiving the very best care. I knew that staff spoke kindly, and made sure that everyone was safe and well taken care of at all times. It made me feel good to know that my kids were treated like family. ALC, by the way prides in being a family- for the staff and all of the children enrolled. This is a rarity in this business. Also, ALC has a perfect record with all of the regulating entities- which is a testament to how well the program is run. In a highly regulated industry this is unheard of. I truly appreciate my time at ALC, because I saw from the inside out- what a great preschool should be.

I have had kids enrolled in ALC for the last 5 years and couldn't imagine ever having them go somewhere else. It's always hard leaving your little ones with someone else, but Ms. Pearl and her staff instantly made me feel at ease and my kids comfortable. They are truly a gem.

My son went to ALC for 2 years and it was the most wonderful experience for not only him, but also for his dad and I. I am VERY picky when it comes to people watching my children. My worries were put to ease the moment I met Miss Pearl and the rest of the staff. They were loving, encouraging, fun, energetic and caring. My son was always excited to go to school and still to this day says "look mommy! There's my preschool! " every time we drive by. He is in kinder now but we make it a point to stay in touch. I can't recommend ALC enough. If you are looking for a safe, happy space for your little, do yourself a favor and check them out!

I had good feelings about this place when I first did a walk through with my child. I really did like it at first, but then after the first week of my child going I noticed a difference in my child’s behavior, throwing more tantrums, regressing. Restless nights chewing on their fingers and drooling. Every time we got close to the daycare my child would scream and cry and cling to me. Every single day. Needless to say I felt they were being neglected and, well, maybe even abused in some way. I will never know the truth. The whole 3 weeks they were there my child would freak out every day and was completely different. I never experienced this with the other daycare my child went to. After keeping my child home for a week instantly they got better… hmm, coincidence?
I wanna know why you can only talk to the owner and not the other daycare workers there? Even when the owner isn’t even there I still had to talk to just her. Very weird. I had to pull out my kid because they were getting worse and I will never force my child to go where they were so obviously being neglected and god knows what else… they also seem understaffed with way too many children, which by the way is ILLEGAL. I do not recommend. I feel so bad for even sending my child here… I just wish I knew more of what went on.
