I had an AC unit installed in May by the team at Advanced Heating and they were nothing but professional. The estimate took a few minutes and was super informative and honest about my options. Installation was approved and scheduled in a matter of days. The installation took one working day and was super non-invasive. The technician took me through the process start to end and was extremely communicative with any decisions that needed to be made. We ended up needed to move the placement from the estimate and they made sure to get my approval before anything was installed. The system is running great and saved us from the heat wave. I'll be using AHAC for all my needs from now on!

"Advance Heating and Air Conditioning" were recomnended to us originally by an old family friend, a successful Portland building contractor for both new homes and businesses. We have a 75 year old home in West Linn and the previous heating system had failed a final time. "Just call Advanced, " he told me. I asked him if I shouldn't get estimates first. "You can go through the motions, but you'll wind up with Advanced. They know what they're doing from estimate and sales to installation. They understand flow and they look at each house for its own unique issues. Their estimates make sense, they back their work, and they won't push 'product' on you if it doesn't make sense for your house or your budget. " We took his advice and contracted with "Advanced" for a new heating system five years ago which has turned out to be perfect for our house. What impressed me most was their insistence that we re-orient the flow throughout the house. They explained their reasoning in a manner which we could understand, and the flow of heat throughout the house was immediately better balanced than it had ever been previously. This year we asked them back to install an integrated air conditioning system (just in time for June's crazy heat, as it turned out) and it works perfectly. This is the first time I've sat down to write one of these reviews, but we think they're as knowledgeable and reasonably priced a company as one could hope for. We have recommended "Advanced" to friends and neighbors and regard them as the best choice in Portland. From the front office to sales to installation, the employees at "Advanced" have been gracious, patient, and good-natured with us from day one, and we have come to consider them neighbors. Their attitude is "old school, " and they do their work with pride and follow-up. We recommend them to any home owner or business person hoping for the "best result" in all regards.

Advanced installed our AC quickly and professionally. When we had a glitch with the system the same week, they came out to our house immediately to make it right, free of charge. Hopefully I never have to buy another AC again but if I did, I would use this company once more.

Greg and his whole crew were awesome! I would and likely will use Advanced Heating & Air Conditioning again in the future. They replaced our old furnace, installed all new ducts and relocated our furnace to free-up space. They also made it so we could easily install air conditioning in the future.

In the middle of our furnace install, we found out there was a leak in the basement. We had to hold off on installing our AC unit, and Advanced let us have as much time as we needed to fix the problem before they installed. Advanced was immensely communicative and provided all services they said they would in a timely fashion. There were a few bumps along the way, but Advanced solved all problems and left us extremely satisfied by their services and customer service at the end of the project. Highly recommend.

The folks at Advanced recently installed a gas furnace for me, replacing my old oil furnace. Every person I met throughout the process was professional and friendly, from the office to install crew. These guys did amazing work! The old furnace was put in place in 1960. The house was built around it. The team at Advanced Heating was amazing! They had to cut their way through concrete to make room for the new furnace. TOP NOTCH SERVICE!

Impressed with Kim's follow-thru. Challenging repair, required 2 additional parts. Even when Trane Tech support let him down, Kim was there to see it thru and he got our furnace back up and running before nightfall. Saved the kids from a cold, cold night and morning. Much appreciated.

Scott, estimator and sales person, patiently answered all of my questions about the product and maintained strong communication. Ben, the HVAC installer, and his crew (Sam, Greg, and Jesus) were on time, courteous, and methodical in removing my old gas furnace from a very confined attic space. Ben explained the process in lay person's terms, and kept me informed every step of the way. Additionally, Ben patiently explained how the condensation line works on my new 95% energy efficient Trane furnace. The office staff returned calls and emails promptly, and even sent a thank you card in the mail after Scott submitted a bid for proposed work! Ben and his crew nicely cleaned up the work site and before leaving checked in to see if I had additional questions or concerns. I couldn't have asked for a better experience! The staff that came out to install my new heat pump we’re courteous, expedient, and helpful. I needed assistance in financing a new unit and they were very knowledgeable and helpful with that process.

Advanced Heating & AC is our go-to residential hvac company. They installed our central AC unit and we’ve asked them to troubleshoot problems with our heater and air conditioner. They even figured out what was wrong with our heater over the phone during a snow storm! Prices are always fair and customer service is excellent.
