Advanced Orthopedics

Update: Advanced Orthopedics was too busy for me. I think I saw the doctor once, for five minutes. I got exrays taken and the assistant put my knee brace on and told me to come back in 4 weeks, and that was it. I was denied pain medication when my kneecap fracture was clearly still healing, and when I had questions, it took days for them to get back to me, and when they did, it was the receptionist leaving me an unhelpful message. I will never go here again for my ortho needs.

Had my appointment in September 2022 and can't get the staff to listen so I can get a Request for Services sent to the VA because I'm a veteran who needs a hip issue addressed. The prior authorization for the MRI Dr Jones is requesting hasn't been sent. I get told I will get a call back and then I hear crickets. I have tried to explain this to the authorization department and was told they will send an email. What is this the stone ages? Pick up a phone and call community care like the veteran has to do to check the status of the request. It's really frustrating when patient care is not top priority and you have to wait months for a answer. I'm in pain and trying to advocate for myself and then get shut out with no communication.
Accountability is really important in healthcare. So is communicating with your patients. Don't go here if you're a veteran because no one cares to listen. Patiently waiting for healthcare.
