Repeat: You won’t find a more caring, courteous and professional staff at the advanced pain management center. Dr. Vladimir Fiks is an extra ordinary Dr and I place my trust in him for a good reason. He’s an expert in his field.

Dr. Fiks and his staff always manages to find solutions when things get confusing or there was a discrepancy with pharmaceutical medications or when I need clarity on my care. They're always there!

When I was in the depths of despair with chronic, debilitating pain, Dr Fiks and his team were able to respond to my needs and deliver the care that I needed to return to normalcy.

Thank you guys for seeing me and helping me to figure out what the heck is going on since I was last with you guys. Thank you for being there.

I really appreciate the staff I work with Bridget and Carmen very nice and professional! One thing I really like is the calm in the office by walking in and seeing your provider you would never know they are extremely busy! It makes the experience comfortable and relaxing

I went in for my first visit in July 2023 to seek another opinion for my chronic lower back pain (I've seen dozens of doctors over a decade). They had me first do this self instructed app-based game to test memory and I'm guessing neurological function, which I thought was a waste of time as well as being unnecessary and unrelated to my pain. And they charged me $240 for it!

They also did a urine test and EKG, all of which I did not know about prior to the appt and was not told how much any of this would cost. My actual time with the Doctor was about 20 mins in which he suggested to repeat a SI injection, when I've had 3 prior that had failed.
I received the bill today and was completely shocked how much was being charged. I have BCBS insurance, but these are the codes and costs I was charged. I believe in full transparency especially when surprise bills can be detrimental to someone that can't afford it. Healthcare should be about helping people and not charging ridiculous fees to make a huge profit.
I also was never given notes from my visit or the results from the drug test or the EKG, which seems rather suspicious.
Office visit: CPT code 99204- $420
Presumptive analysis UDS: CPT Code 80307- $400
Neuropsychological Test: CPT Code 96138- $240
EKG: CPT code 93000- $150

Total cost for initial visit before insurance: $1210
In case you are paying out of pocket or haven't hit your deductible yet, FYI!

They also don't offer telehealth appts unless you're over 50 miles away or sick, which I think is pretty wild given that most of us in pain don't have the energy to drive and put in that much energy for an appt that can easily be done over the computer.

The people treat you like people and they don't make you wait long great place I wish they were closer to my house but small price

I only had my first visit at the clinic, but his nurses/medical assistants were kind, helpful and warm. Dr Fiks also seemed kind and gentle. He ordered imaging and it seems they will get things done quickly without the run-around.

Great service and pain management as I am awaiting surgery. Everyone here is kind, efficient, and courteous!

I have been a patient of Advanced Pain Management for I believe 7+ years now. I have never had a bad experience in that time frame and always felt like they were listening to all of my concerns of chronic pain and never dismissive. After years of being diagnosed incorrectly by a previous surgeon Dr. Bridget Lahm referred me for a second opinion with Neurosurgeon Dr. Jeffrey Johnson who is also amazing. Unfortunately, due to the previous 15 years of misdiagnosis from a previous doctor now I have permanent nerve damage and luckily have been very much taken care of from all the staff at Advanced Pain Management. Dr. Fiks is great and has always had a great bedside manner. I normally see Bridget who has always been very kind, listens to my concerns and has never been dismissive or felt like I was being pushed along. I have seen Mr. Shore a few times as well and he is very kind, always addresses any questions or concerns I have as well. Thank you APMC for all you have done and continue to do for me! I would and always have highly recommended you all!

I have seen Mr Shor for over 10 years now. He has always been willing to work with me to find ways to deal with my pain that change as my pain changes. I know that he will always listen and if needed get in touch with my Nephrologist to find workable options for my complicated body. The staff has always been professional and still warm and friendly. I have referred several people to the clinic because I know they will get the best care and be treated with respect.

Didn't call after recent procedure. Didn't schedule a follow up appointment. Can't reach anyone on the phone. Not good care.

APM is good at researching the issues I am having and make it a accessable to my beginnings knowledge to learn as I go

Excellent pain clinic with all of the latest technology and very compassionate staff who are very progressive, and constantly helping me find both conventional and innovative new solutions. They have been the best partner ever in helping me to improve my chronic, severe back pain issues. I'm a very happy patient and recommend them to anyone who struggles with chronic pain. I have sent several friends their way since I know first hand the amazing help that they'll get. I'm a scuba diver and with their help just did a 9 day dive vacation and was able to do 3 dives a day again every day we were there, 18 dives total! Thank you APM for helping me get my life back!
