Adventist Health Tillamook reviews
13I always appreciate the friendly atmosphere and the fact that my doctor and those who care for me are very knowledgeable. I appreciate very much the Scriptures on the walls!
Nice efficient X-ray technician. Front office staff was no show at 8 am. Next door nurse tried to fill in. Later receptionist showed up when called to come in on her day off.
The nurse at my yearly physical was friendly and helpful and Dr. Nancy Hessel was very thorough and explained everything. I would love to have her as a permanent physician. Thank you for making my yearly visit so uncomplicated. Sandra Davis
Had a great appointment- Dr Amy and her team know what they are doing. Dr Amy did not rush the visit, ask questions and suggested appropriate follow up.
Dr. Bobeck is excellent. He answered my questions and my daughter’s questions. And then he took time to share his wisdom on several issues including the connection between my extremely sore neck and numb hands/fingers and why my tractioning helps both conditions.
Doctor didnt reaoly seem to care. He kept saying "mm hmm" after things I said then said " well I dont jnow how to treat you" leaned up on the counter for 15 mins then decided to check my heart and breathing. I was telling him I was having numbing and a stretch or tight feeling under my chin, on my chest, bicep, forearm and fingers. Tapped on my face asked if both sides felt the same. I said no. I mentioned that I may have jad an allergic reaction and he says "well normally allergic reactions show uo outside the skin not in your muscles" i dont know. He asked if I was on medication. Asked me why I hadnt continued on them. Went to go check to see if they were on file. Meanwhile someone else comes and gives me 2 benadryl capsules that knock me out and stay in my system until about 8pm next day. Almost 24 hours. Symptoms did subside. However, the service I received as an emeegency didnt leave me at peace. And I rarely go to docror. Sent home with 2 benadryls and perscription. Praying it was nothing serious. However, because of numbing and tightness.wondered why I wasnt put on EKG. In fact, 4 different people asked if that was done and concerned. Thank goodness for paper trail on who doc was. And for surveys.
The staff was wonderful. From the receptionist to the Doctor who checked me out. I could not have asked for anything better. Everyone was knowledgeable and up to date on all the covid protocol and medication and care!
I came in for a fasting blood draw. The phlebotomy department at our hospital is great! I had Diane for my draw this time and it was painless. She was polite, chatty, and put me at ease. Also, I was hoping to get the results for an appointment later in the day so she was kind enough to take it for “processing”, if that’s what it’s called, right away.
Dr. Thompson became my primay care physician shortly after moving to Lincoln City. I used the Urgent Care facility in L. C. They referred me to a surgeon at the Samaritan hospital. I had HPV. My tonsils
and multiple Lymph nodes were already consumed by Cancer. We had just moved here so I hadn't established insurance. I had never used the VA til then but, I had surgery then 30 wonderful doses of Radiation at the Hoover Cancer center in McMinnville. Then became Dr. Thompson's patient. When I see him it's like I'm a wild horse. I was smoking and drinking far too much. He has helped me, in my own time, to take better care of myself. I am just sorry he was never my mentor. My life is better and will last longer. Can't ever pay him back.
My health care at Adventist health is the best. The doctor was very knowledgeable great sense of humor and helpful to the max.
Excellent except one nurse trying to be a know it all. Was asking me about my stroke and how did I know seemed like I was getting the 3rd degree about my symptoms. But everyone else I can’t explain The fantastic care I got
I love Adventist Health in Tillamook. They are so helpful to find different ways to help. I like how they are actively supporting my health by listening to what I know is right for me. I would absolutely recommend this place.
