15Not sure what's with all the curmudgeons in these reviews. Had a perfectly fine experience here, despite avoiding the place for the longest time based on the rating/reviews. Guy at the desk was very professional and friendly. Exchanged a tank and bought some wares. Prices seemed fair. I'll be back.
Rude most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. Made a simple exchange of a co2 tank harder then it needed to be!
I have been in and out of the Hillsboro store for over 15 years, I worked for a essential service utility. Ken Grounds goes beyond as far as personal service. He has helped with small to extra large orders. If Ken doesn't have it, I can count on him to get it and even have it delivered.

I can't say much positive about the rest of the crew but Trevor has been very helpful, professional and courteous. After 5 years of doing business there, he is the only one that recognizes me and knows that I have an account. Keep up the good work Trevor and thanks for all your help! 4 stars with Trevor, 2 stars without.

Wow! This place has the WORST customer service EVER! Please hire someone who isn't rude to customers. We're just there to purchase items not get an attitude from a grump.
Went in for argon. Got a back rub and a bite of the guy that works there's sandwich. They go above and beyond
Jeremy is about and respectful and helpful and a wet paper bag full of rocks. Can't even begin to describe how unhelpful and rude he is.
Very rude on the phone. Wants you to know the exact name and style of product yourself.but can’t tell you what they have there? Not getting my business anytime soon.
Absolutely worthless place, the people that have never welded in their life behind the counter can't understand normal questions and are completely reluctant to help anyone. Look at all these one star reviews, there's a reason for them. Worst experience I've ever had with customer service. Save yourself some time and go ANYWHERE else
It is really unpleasant to work with these guys. I traded in a very expensive bottle and was badgered about paying for the gas in the bottle I choose. They recommended the wrong gas on top of it.
I work with food grade gasses and the staff had no idea about the differences in purity, and pushed industrial grade nitrogen on me without knowing the purity of the cylinder. The staff is not a pleasant bunch – going to go with Matheson from here on out
Not helpful, poor customer relations staff was rude and unpleasant, to work with. I think they just don’t care.
