Alder Creek Kayak & Canoe, Portland OR

9/9/23 A friend of mine asked Ty at Alder Creek if we could put in our SUP and Kayak at their dock. He said "Yes"! This was soo nice. I have rented from Alder Creek several times but this time we did not and they still let us use their dock. And then Olivia at Alder Creek, helped us get the kayak and the SUP down the steps to the dock! SO dang nice. After we were done, they let both of us use their bathrooms so we could quick clean up and get something to eat. KUDOS to Ty and Olivia and Alder Creek for being so helpful and nice to two people who did not purchase any of their services.

I’d rent or buy from them. I was looking for something specific and mainly window shopping. Good folks that got me talking about the Oakland A’s and boating. I held on to my money for a few days. Nice business.

These guys are great, held on to my kayak for more than a year while we were transferring from Vancouver to Seattle. They always have the best equipment for our range and their service is amazing. Thanks guys!

I had a great time kayaking and their prices are affordable for everyone. The best advice that was given to me was to start off going into the direction of the current so when you get tired you can practically coast back.

Ethan replaced the neck gasket on my kokatat dry suit and trimmed one wrist gasket. Excellent service, great work at a fair price and very quick turnaround! Highly recommend this store!
