I am currently 8 weeks post op from total knee replacement. Dr. DeHaan and his team are excellent. They are professional, upfront, supportive and very good at what they do. Although this was not a fun experience, there were no surprises. They know that this is a rough procedure and do a good job preparing you for it. They truly do “get your life back in motion “. The first doctor I saw for knee pain said my 13 year old total knee replacement needed to be replaced; it had become unstable. I chose to see Dr. Dehaan for a 2nd opinion. He showed me my X-rays and said the original knee replacement was still perfect. He manipulated my knee and suggest physical therapy specific to the patella. I highly recommend him for his honesty and integrity and the time he took to explain the situation to me.

Dr Alex DeHann is awesome! He shows a personal interest and, while he is busy, my appointments never feel rushed. He replaced each of my hips using the "anterior" method which is more technically difficult for the doctor but much faster and easier healing for the patient. I am a very physically active person and, almost 4 years later, both hips continue to function perfectly. I am now seeing him for my knees. Also, rest of the staff is very friendly, knowledgable and efficient. A 5 star experience at every visit!

I had total hip replacement surgery for my right hip using the posterior method. Dr Dehaan and staff were very professional and caring and explained everything in detail and answered all of my questions patiently. Dr DeHaan is an amazing (skilled surgeon / intellect) Dr. I’ve had A LOT (17) orthopedic surgery…all sports related…15 /16 (prior to Dr DeHaan) we’re from another extremely skilled surgeon (he kept me athletically active long past my expiration date). Dr DeHaan, suggested a Total Knee Revision (replacing a failing TKA). Soooo glad took his advice…results are improving daily & Dr. D.added years to my joint expiration dates…
