Aloha Dog & Cat Hospital reviews
31 I would like to recognize every employee here. You've all been wonderful with caring for our kitties Dexter and DeeDee. Especially after Dexter's recent urinary obstruction.
Each staff member treated my wife with utmost respect, patience, and empathy. The vets are all understanding and can communicate hard things in a clear and concise manner. Most importantly, they listen! I wish people doctors were like this!
They're super busy these days, but if you can make this your primary vet clinic, do!
Always wonderful, kind and attentive. Although it’s hard to book appointments in these COVID times, the team made all the accommodations necessary to protect everybody, and helped us to get urgent care on a very short notice.
Dr. Thrower and the front desk staff were helpful and kind. The listened to my concerns and took great car of my cat.
I was so thankful for the compassionate, timely, kind care when it became obvious that my sweet 18-yr-old kitty needed to be put to sleep. This is something I have never had to do before, although we've lost cats and dogs to them going missing or coyote issues. They were so sweet about giving me paw and nose prints as well as a sample of her fur. I never felt rushed as I petted her as she took one last deep breath. "When" I'm ready for another kitty, this will be my clinic of choice. I loved that fuzzball, took care of her, earned her trust, and she loved me back. You can't ask more, and I thank you for your support and organized new business model.
I give 4 stars because this was my first visit. The staff were very polite. Dr. Hershey talked with me in detail about my pet's appointment and what care I wanted. She kept me informed on how my pet was doing throughout the appointment. I had my reservations about not being allowed to be in the office with my pet due to COVID restrictions, but they were great at keeping me informed throughout. Very upfront about the pricing and talked through different options for care I wanted to provide for my pet and concerns I had.
The vets are great, the office personnel rude and unhelpful. My family has been going there for like 30 years. I will stress that the vets are excellent but office staff is so terrible which is incredibly irritating.
We love all the vets and staff here. They are so helpful and ready to answer any questions. They are priced fairly and always deliver great service.
Always so helpful and caring! We have been going to them for years and have never had a bad experience.
Have been going here for decades! Used to be really convenient when we lived in Aloha. The care and treatment of our pets make it worth the drive there. Only the best for our pets.
Absolutely hands down to all that work here. Kind and caring and feel very safe bringing your pet here.
$550 in tests and they are clueless to what's wrong with my dog. The suggest another $700+ in tests and say they still might not be able to figure it out. I wish I could not do my job and still get paid.
My experience amazing. I feel like it could have been very easy for me to get really frustrated with my kitty's situation (slow progress & expensive procedures). The doctors and the entire staff were so friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and reassuring. Since I have no kids & live alone with my pets, they are extremely important to me. I had complete faith in this hospital to take care of cat, and they went above & beyond expectations.
The staff are all amazing! This is our normal vet but when our dog got attacked at a dog park; they helped us right away and gave our little one the best care. They even calmed us as we were nervous wrecks!
Dog Ruger had something happen to his eye to the point we thought he would lose his eye.
They got him in asap, diagnosed and sent us home with pills. He wouldn't eat or take his meds, went back the next got a steroid shot and swelling went down, eye opened up and he was able to eat and take meds. He is seeing again. Very good caring service.
We come here for our kitty and they are always super helpful and have no problem explaining things or helping you understand how to do something yourself. Reglardess of what you’d think its cheaper to get fleas and worm medication from these guys then from your local pet store and it actually works very well. My kitty has long hair and they even trimmed up her behind with no extra charges:)
I went in after a horrible experience with my vet of two years in Tualatin. The staff were incredibly kind to both myself and my dog.
Been going here for three years now and they've treated us and our critters quite well. Prices are reasonable. Wish the parking lot was a bit bigger but that's a minor nitpick.
They don't have great bedside manner but they give you a reasonable prices on medication and help get your pet back
We took both of our cats in at the same time to get treated for after flea complications. They did awesome. The staff kept both our pets very calm and explained everything going on very well. They were sweet and awesome. And their prices are great. It was a little under 500 for both cats to get flea meds for 3 months. Vaccines and get some steroids like stuff and allergy meds to help my cat with her severe flea allergy. Very impressed and will be going to them again.
The doctors, techs and front desk staff are all very nice and competent. All of our dogs issues have been addressed and treated. There is never a long wait and everyone is greeted when they come in.
