Stopped to get some ideas and use their always clean bathroom when I found 2 small plants a holiday pot (all on sale) along with nice holiday decorations both inside and out.
Again the store is clean the bathrooms are supplied there's plenty of parking and the staff is on top of things.

Pleasantly pleased. Was a little sticker shocked. But for a garden center I suppose it was reasonable. Will go back in the spring

Discriminated today without cause. We asked to purchase a display item with an employee who informed us the items were for sale and part of their Christmas inventory. So we proceeded to purchase the items. At the register we were informed that the items were not for sale and not part of their Christmas inventory. Fine, no problem. However, the way Al’s managed the situation and inquiry was blown out of proportion. They called a couple of employees, a floor manager and the associate that we asked initially about the items. And we were repeatedly told the items were not for sale, etc. (I heard you the first time). I left and dropped off other items to the car and walked back inside only to overhear the gal in very short hair embellishing what had transpired to a couple of other employees. Look, I don’t mind being informed if something is not for sale. What I do mind is being discriminated by blowing things out of proportion and embellishing facts from what actually happened. This was such a poor experience and shocked that it happened. Management would do well to retrain their employees on basic customer service.

If only I had more windows/rooms/yard. Al’s Garden Center is a unreal experience and it can be overwhelming for those who do not know what they want/need/wish for. We have really done our research, planned looks and made sure before we went that we had a game plan…and we still end up getting confused! They have everything!

Back to the store, they have 4 areas that I noticed. They have an apparel and home decor area, they have the small indoor items area (Seasonal) and then they have the outdoor area with both fruits, flowers, and trees to ground cover. I mean everything.

During the holidays it really is special. They do such a great job with making the store festive and bringing in items that make you want to fill a cart.

Word to the wise…. They are higher priced. But for what you get they offer amazing quality plants and items. Shop around if you need to, but know that Al’s has everything.

Lots of pumpkins, but many small & smashed. The largest I could locate was about the size of a basketball.

Haven't been here in years, but the entire store was decorated for the holidays.
I loved all the decorated trees and different plants. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Nice selection of plants and helpful staff.

Editing: this place is a haven! You have to compare prices for some of the other places in the area thats my only suggestion. They always have lush healthy plants and the staff is still amazing a year later! Great indoor plant selection.

As we had quite a drive to get to Al's I had called ahead to make sure they had what I wanted. They were very helpful helping me to locate the plant once we got there. Pleasant and professional.

Excellent selection of outdoor needs. We bought summer color spots for our open house and Al's variety and selection of options was just what we needed.

When I finally received help it was fine. I found a very knowledgeable person. Seemed short staffed. Plants were great but hard to find on yr own

Had a wonderful staff member help me select some colorful plants for my two new planter boxes on my deck that face NE. They look great and the hummingbirds should be enjoying them too!

Beautiful place with very friendly staff! Some of the most gorgeous pots you've ever seen, especially if you are in the market for something large. 1 star off because this place is super expensive, but if you have the money the quality is certainly their for the price.

Allison the manager at the Sherwood location is very helpful and caring. She is very nice and took the time to help me make my large purchase and also found the person who needed to take my order. She stayed with me to make sure I was taken care of before leaving me. Her smile and kind behavior also made this a great experience.

I used to love going to Al's Gardens and recommended it to everyone I know, but not anymore.   After trying to resolve an issue with Ed, a manager, who should take a class in people skills and Customer Service, I will no longer be shopping at Al's or recommending it to anyone!

I drive 30 minutes to get to the Sherwood store, and regularly spend at least $100 when I go, but I choose not to give them my personal information, so I don't belong to their Rewards program.

Last weekend I spent over $100 which included a Hydrangea.   The sign over this section of Hydrangeas said "full sun". Well, I placed it in full sun and it's almost dead! Leaves are curling and brown like they have been singed by being in the sun.

I called, wanting Store credit and was told that without a receipt there is nothing they can do.

I have the original pot, the informational stick that was in the pot  as well as my credit card receipt showing the total amount spent. This wasn't enough to give me Store credit for a plant they mislabeled!

Really? That would have been enough for any Store, and certainly for a "manager" who cared about a customer.

Al's has gotten too big for their britches! I remember when all they sold were flowering pots on lot!

Now, while it's a beautiful Store, with beautiful plants, their customer service is lacking!

Al's in Sherwood is my absolute #1 Nursery. The staff is always helpful and knowledgeable. They have a wide variety of tree's, flowers, vegie starts, and shrubs. Inside they have a unique area that sells nice boutique clothing, as well as house plants, pots, and home decor. Highly recommend!

This place is GREAT! Staff is knowledgeable and helpful, and I was surprised at the reasonable pricing. It's also a beautiful place just to spend time. I joined the rewards program and I think it'll be a substantial benefit. Thanks!
