Great location! The hotel is a little outdated but it’s very clean. The staff in the front desk couldn’t be any nicer or more helpful. We will be coming back many times.

They were very responsive to meet the needs of my diabled fiance. Quiet hours were honored. You do need to be aware of when the front desk closes so you can make sure you have what you need during the night.

Went for my daughter's birthday. We brought a dog which I'm glad they allow pets BUT the room stank as soon as we walked in. They gave me a febreeze spray but still stinky. The restaurant on site is good but spendy

I wish I had good things to report, I've been looking for a new place I enjoyed staying at in this area.this isn't the place. I will give full props to the front desk staff that checked us in, very nice people. The rooms are awful and smelly. Our coffee pot didn't work and the lobby pot is meant for a home and nobody took an interest in refilling it. Pretty sure our sheets hadn't been washed as we found certain 'hairs' in our sheets that could not have been ours. They tout the swimming pool as heated, it's not and was filthy. The restaurant needs help. Our sever was very nice, but the food was awful and insanely overpriced for what it was. Everything fried tasted burnt, my daughter's burger was a charcoal and bar service was a joke. I get that they are understaffed, but that doesn't justify slapping out subpar rooms, food or service. I won't be back. Ever. There are far superior places to stay for the same price.

Great views of the bay, the bridge, and there was some nice outdoor space with spread out picnic areas. Since it's not air conditioned, the ceiling fan made it quite comfortable. Nice touch!
If you're looking for fancy though, this isn't it. It's very outdated, the pillows were extremely flat, our room was very small with low ceilings, and we could hear everything going on around us (including the fighting couple and barking dog across the hall). The bed was literally right in front of the slider and we had to scooch by to get out onto the patio.
My constructive criticism would be to update the rooms and in the double queen patio room, shift the beds over closer to the wall. A nice touch too would be to include a luggage stand in the rooms, so you had somewhere to put luggage.
The staff was great, property has a restaurant/lounge onsite, it's reasonably priced, and clean. Loved having a patio looking over the bay. Overall, I would recommend.

Very clean, retro seriously 70s decor. Need more soundproofing between rooms, heavier doors or something. Not bad

Our stay was fantastic no issues what so ever. Loved the area behind the resort right on the bay! Only bad thing was sitting on the grass it was full of thorns and barbs lol kept having to pull them out of my hands lol perfect place for families and couples definitely on our go to list now for the coast! If you know The Adobe that was our honeymoon choice and where we spend our anniversaries and my birthday, this place is a step under perfect for those weekend get aways and right between Newport and Yachats perfect for Food, agate hunting (Yachats) sight seeing (cape Perpetua/Thor's well). This place is just perfect for a weekend or mid week trip very quiet, peaceful, and beautiful gem on the bay also the sea lions are abundant we saw probably at least 20 different heads poking up out of the water at once. Highly recommend!

Worst company ever. Planned a kids birthday celebration drove 6 hours for them to be rude about the booking of the rooms. Told me I could not broke the rooms right on their website. They said sorry the rooms are dirty. Instead of saying hang on let us clean them, they said you will have to call another hotel. Hello dumb A— it’s summer and we are already here. We ended up finding a room at a way better hotel and it was cheaper too! Would never recommend.

Not a fan and will not be staying here again, very overpriced for what we got, should have stayed in Yachats, the room was clean, beds suck, people fighting outside the room, kids crying, long walks from the parking lot to the room, host was grouchy and had lots of rules for us.wont stay there again.

Awesome location and the same goes for the price. What you Get is what you pay for but you pay for. When when leaving my room to go get some dinner the whole locking assembly came off of the door the door keeping me trapped in my room. Tried to call for help but the phone did not even have a dial tone. Luckily I was on the ground floor so I could Walk through my back door and around the building perin the building. When morning came I went to make some coffee with the inroom maker and there was parts missing on it. This irritated me quite a bit, but they made up for it by giving us bag breakfast and fresh coffee with as much as we could carry.

Restraint is closed till Tuesday. Grub hub and door dash don't deliver, the little Mart up the street is great. Clean sheets good view on either side of the building. For the price it fits the bill.

We dont always get to get away for a family trip and we went ahead and booked a couple nights at Alsi Resort. I read reviews before booking saw some good and bad reviews but went ahead with them anyway. I tell you what they did not disappoint. Yeah the pool is not heated and the restaurant was not open when we went but that didn't matter to us. My kids got in the pool anyway and we ended up finding some pretty tasty places to eat. We are definitely going to return. Not only because the crabbing right off the beach was PERFECT but the staff was very friendly and welcoming when we arrived and when we checked out. Thanks Alsi Resort for an awesome family trip. See you soon!

Priced cheap.establishment was outdated. Lounge was closed for Obvious reasons.feel sorry for businesses trying to Operate in Oregon. Front desk staff was polite and professional. Pretty sure the owners know a upgrade to the Hotel is due.

Passable given there aren't many options. Rooms are clean but outdated and the carpet in themis what you would find in a house not a commercial property which is pretty meh.

I stayed here with my girlfriend for a one-night coastal getaway, and there were a few ups and downs of our stay. I'll start by saying that I would give this place a weak, but positive recommendation.

Pros: The staff is amazingly friendly. We booked through hotels.com and had received an email the day before saying that check-in ended at 6 PM, which was labelled as a "winter" message. I guess they're actually doing check-in 'til 7 PM, but we were going to miss the 6 deadline and they were very kind about it.

The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in.

The view of the bay is pretty! The area is secluded, and very, very quiet. As a couple of city-dwellers, my companion and I almost felt it to be *too* quiet, but it was really just heavenly to escape.

The room price was excellent. Most reasonable price we could find on a week's notice on the Coast in August.

Neutral: I can't comment on the Waves restaurant, as it was closed by the time we were there, and we only were there for the one day.

The room design confused me. Honestly, I've never stayed in a 1-bed room before this trip, but it was just a normal two-bed room, nightstand in the middle, but with the bed by the window missing. So there's this big, giant, open area. Maybe this was normally a pet room? It would've been nicer (to me) if it had a centered (preferably king-sized) bed in the middle. Though, again, this is nitpicky and not really a knock. The bed was amazing.

I can't comment on the pool or fire pits - I can't swim, and there was a burn ban in Lincoln County when we visited. They looked to be fine, though!

Cons: Check-in was complicated by the fact that the room we originally booked had not had housekeeping done. Walking up to our room and seeing it already open, with the comforters all piled onto one of the two beds was a bit of a sight. On the bright side, we were given a room upgrade to one with a view. I think it was a miscommunication, and with the current state of hiring staff in Oregon right now, it's possible it was just a flub by a new employee or something.

The room we got, particularly the bathroom, felt dated. An old pedestal sink, an old (rusty?) tissue dispenser located above the toilet. Mismatched light fixtures. There was also a very thick accumulation of dust at the top of the over-sink lights, which put me off immediately. The toilet also had an issue where it wouldn't refill the tank after a flush, so we had to take off the lid and juggle it to prompt a refill.

The access doors in the hallway to leave the building (particularly the ones farther from the lobby) were rusty and hard to open. I get it that rust at a beach is a thing. The big pushbars to open were rusted on the *inside*, though. While it didn't cause any problems, it just made things feel more run-down and dated, and not in the "fun" way.

Continental breakfast was sparse, and the OJ was spilling out from its container all over the table.

~~

Ultimately, we had a great time, we slept well, at a reasonable price. With a couple attention-to-detail touches that will likely be worked out as they get more experienced staff, this can be an excellent place to stay.

If you want a quiet, secluded escape to the coast, I recommend you check out the Alsi Resort. Just be aware there might be a couple small kinks along the way.

Great, inexpensive-ish waterfront spot. Might see sea lions, restaurant's not bad but it tasted like cambell's tomato soup with clams.

Pros: Front desk service was absolutely great! Every employee I came across was very polite and helpful in regard to any questions I asked. The view of the bay is wonderful and peaceful. The pool was nice. The fridge worked really well and kept my food/drinks cold! Less than a 5 minute walk or 2 minute drive to the ocean! Not a crowded beach either and was perfect for watching the sunset.

Cons: The continental "breakfast" was more of a bunch of snacks to take wherever someone is going that day rather than a good sit down meal as one (like myself) probably assumed. Sometimes, especially in the dog-allowed portion of the hotel, you can hear people walk and talk in the hallways and especially anyone that knocks on doors or slams them when they close them which can cause to typically a couple dogs all barking at once.

Overall: I would recommend this place for sure. My goal for this week was to get out and get away from the city and life in general. It was a very calm and peaceful area with a close walk to the beach and being right on the bay. You will be at the end of round about dead end away from traffic so there isn't much of that sound. That alone, along with the wonderful service I received while being going through the booking/staying process would be enough for me to come back. Thank you!
