Terry personally cared to help me get the camper I wanted. He worked closely with the owner, me and the lender. He accommodated my timelines as I had a long drive to get to his business. He and his team changed my hitch, made sure I was safely hitched up. The paperwork to finalize the purchase was straightforward. This was a 5 star experience!

BEWARE! We inquired to consign our Motorhome spoke with Terry Toner who told us that he recently bought the business American RV and complained that it was "alot work", we should not have ignored this because it was a red flag.

Terry doesn't know what he is doing, he isn't experienced with RV's. He says he'll do something but never calls you back. Horribly unprofessional.

Then when we scheduled our repairman to show up at his lot for new carpet in our Motorhome (per Terry's request) he flipped out with me on the phone and refused to give a time frame for putting it up for sale once the carpet was installed! He became angry and hung up and refused to answer my calls or texts.
Apparently, he doesn't want any one asking him to do anything and
having a signed agreement to consign with him means nothing.

This is not professional or a decent. Terry is the one in-charge has unstable behavior like a crazy person! He is totally incapable of professional or even just basic polite communication. His behavior is completely untrustworthy.

Luckily I was able to take my Motorhome off his lot and never deal with him again.

Also, his suggested asking price was completely out of market range and I didn't know that until I called other consignment lots. So our Motorhome would have just sat there being so overpriced!

UPDATE I received the following text on my phone 10/8/23 @1224pm

Alicia, this is Terry's partner at the RV place. I heard from Terry that you were telling Terry that he was dealing with a crook as a partner I'd sure like to know why you think that this is what we call defamation of character if this is the case I would ask you this time to please stop the fictitious lies and take down the post. If not, I will take your home from you with my attorneys, I have several the choice is yours. If I do not see this post taken down and you keep spreading the defamation of character, I will be my attorneys office Tuesday morning and we will file a lawsuit.
