Apland's Auto Body, Grants Pass OR

Aplands has the nicest people working there! Johnathan is always so kind and the repairs are done quickly and beautifully, our 2020 Dodge Ram 1500 has been in twice for dents because people let their carts smash into it and each time my truck has looked brand new with no sign it was ever damaged.

This place is great! Not only did they do a beautiful job on fixing my car, but they also detailed it inside and out when they were finished. Any time something popped up they called me, they kept me up to date on everything and did it all in a timely manner. Shout out to Brian, he has to be my absolute favorite employee there. I call him any time I have an auto question because I trust him and this businesses opinion/advice/referrals over anyone else’s in town now.

They replaced a door which has had ongoing rubbing issues. At first they eagerly tried to adjust it encouraging me to come back if it persisted. Early on it was taken in again and seemed to be better. Again encouraged me to return if it happened again.
The car is garaged and seldom driven and rarely use the affected door. Recently discovered it is rubbing again so returned it and was disappointed in the attitude of the person who served me.
After a difficult conversation he physically pushed and shoved on the door and said it was better but it was still rubbing when I tried it. He rudely told me to give him my keys then drove it back to the shop. Within 20 - 30 minutes drove it back to the front door parked sideways leaving the motor on
came inside to tell me it was ready. When I tried the door it was a little difficult but not rubbng as much. Drove it home
garaged it. A week later opened the door.same rubbing and difficult open. It needs to be adjusted and I'm not looking forward to receiving poor service again for guaranteed work. The other 3 doors do not have this problem.
I will be requesting further service for this issue and will post an updated review later.

OK here's the update: Today I returned to the shop with the car bypassing the front desk. I recalled in the beginning the guys in the shop had told me to go straight to them with the rubbing issue.that I need not stop at the front desk. One guy approached me as I got out of the car asking what the problem was. He opened the door and discovered the moulding on top of the door had inched toward the opening causing the rub. He adjusted it with his thumb and in 5 minutes I was happily on my way home. AMAZING!

Used Appland's Auto Body for the last 14 years they do it right the first time. All of my vehicles were damaged in parking lots, when repaired at Appland's Auto Body always fantastic!

Didnt actually get work done here, just a quote. People seemed very knowledgeable and upstanding. Gave me some good tips for future issues. Only reason we didn't go with them was the price tag, but for smaller jobs we will probably go here.

Professional and courteous staff. Worked diligently with my insurance company to get me back on the road ASAP.

Love these people! Great service. Work done to my truck after someone ran a light and t-boned me, my baby y is as good as new!

Super helpful and flexible, and the best prices in GP. Feels good supporting this community-minded company, and they're sure to do a good job.

I did not post this one star review.and how it got here we do not know. However, my sports car is in their shop right now because it was recently hit by a deer. I have total faith that when returned it will be in like brand new condition. Mike, Jodi and Jim Glenn have always been great to work with and any issues should be brought to the owners and not posted.

Awesome job Apland's. They went the extra mile to get our family's van out by the end of the week for a trip we had planned. Will definitely use them in the future.

Apland’s in Grants Pass is awesome! The people were super nice and worked with me through insurance, even though that was more of a hassle for everyone than it should have been. When I brought the car to them and they realized I intended on riding the bus home with my 1 year old, they let me drive myself home in my own car, accompanied by an employee who drove it back to the shop for me. That alone to me was going above and beyond. I told them the day I needed my body work done by and they did it. My car, which looked pretty horrendous from the front, came back looking brand new. I seemed to have even gotten a small free detailing to boot! Would definitely recommend, and I will be using them for any and all auto body needs from now on!

I would like to give a huge thankful appreciation to the staff at aplands. A few weeks ago I was in a pretty bad car crash and my car was totaled. The staff made sure all of my belongings were safely put away in a box and not thrown away with the car. After reviewing the items in the box I realized that everything was there. My expensive items were all accounted for. Aplands didn't get any money from me and still showed me amazing customer service. Thank you for making sure my things were okay, and my privacy protected. I recommend this body shop to any one needing service done. They care!

Just picked up our Daughters car from Apland's. Finished ahead of schedule, and the work is flawless! It looked like to me that it was going to be a challenging fix, but they did an incredible job! Looks amazing! Can't tell at all that it was ever damaged. Now that I know how great their work is I wouldn't want to go anywhere else!

I called Apland about 2 small areas on our 1946 PU that needed repair. I was told to take pictures of each repair, all 4 corners of truck and bring the pics in for them to see. So I did. "No problem, bring the fender and tailgate in and we can have it done in a week" so my husband took the fender and tailgate in, they didn't know anything about me (wife) coming in, pictures and told my husband they really didn't do that kind of work. Really? ! They recommended another shop. My husband left for the other shop, CLOSED, now he's getting pissed off! I decide to call and spoke with Mrs Apland. Nice lady apologized, and said Mr would call me. He eventually remembered our conversation and told me to have my husband bring in the parts, NO problem. So he did. Before my husband left he would give him a bid, ok. And the PRINCESS PRICE WAS $1658! Luckily we talked to our neighbor that has hot rods and had my husband take the repairs to someone else in town (Grants Pass) $250 and beautifully done in 3 days! It really was a small job. Aplands should have said in the first minute, we don't do that kind of work! It would have saved us 3 trips to his shop and this review!

I'm posting for my best friend. She took her car in after she was sideswiped by someone. She was moving to Spokane on Friday morning and initially, her car was supposed to be done by then. But with a few delays in things, they'd stretched it out a little. She told them she had to leave by Friday morning, so they put it on a rush and her car was done in time! Unfortunately, no one accounted for the idiot (me!) that would leave her dogs food and medicine in the freaking parking lot. We'd removed it from the car of the person who drove us to the shop, and forgot to put it in her car! Travis called her to tell her it happened, and then offered to bring it to their Grants Pass location, since we'd already left Medford. They were a 5 star based not solely on service of fixing her car, but bringing us the carton of food and medicine to their Grants Pass location. If I could give 10 stars I would. Great customer service. Oh and her car looks brand new!
