Apna Bazaar Indian store reviews
24Everything good about it except the price. Quality of food is good, but things are highly overpriced. I have lived across the US and this store has the costliest Indian grocery and higher markup on all products. They are milking their customers because of lack of competition. Daylight robbery actually
Clean orderly and they have almost all the items that any Indian would need. Just not too happy with the quality of the produce
Best place to eat biriyani. Can improve on better dine in experience. But Overall an excellent place to go for an authentic Indian cuisine.
I am so excited to have found this store. Their prices are very reasonable, especially for some hard to find spices. The staff is both knowledgeable and helpful. The hot food is also delicious.
Usually the food was good, but this time the quality of food was pretty normal and even the bakery items, paneer n veg puffs were not at all good!
Great selection of products albeit at quite high prices in comparison to the actual prices. Clerk was nice and helpful. My only complaint is some things are listed at lower prices than they are at the register and on the receipt. The Gopi Mango Yogurt Drink for example has a tag for around $5 but it rings up for $8.59. I suggest doing a bit of an audit to ensure prices match the bill. Next time, when I'm not fasting and easily angered, I'll point it out in hopes of getting the actual price listed. I like the online shopping, pick up and delivery option as well. Great selections.
Wonderful selection of ingredients. Clean, organized, wish there was more produce, but otherwise very fun place to shop!
I have shopped here for several years and find the place extremely clean, well stocked and the staff are very knowledgeable. The prices are generally fair and noticeably less than buying basic Indian spices in a supermarket.
DO NOT SHOP HERE!
This place cheats customers. They charge more than 2x times the actual price and just across the street there’s another Indian store - which takes care of customers well and charge the right price.
Really kind folks and lovely business. The power went out but they still allowed us to purchase groceries and worked so hard to adapt and make that possible. Thank you and be well everyone
You can get most of Indian ingredients here. However, because of a nicer attached Indian cuisine restaurant, I prefer this place
Good prices, okay assortment, decent food. The reason for the rating is one employee at the store whose attitude was horrendous. It seemed like he was doing us a favour by serving us food. Hated the service by this one person. The two ladies at the register were pleasant and friendly - but i truly disliked the dude's service. First person i have seen in Portland with amazingly bad attitude and service. Won't be visiting this store again.
They have great chat items. Pav bhaji there is a must try. Good number of vegetarian options too
Super clean store, great prices and a variety of Indian products from home goods to fresh produce.
I had Goat Biryani Good quality for the price! I really enjoyed the traditional Indian food experience. I just hope they put more meat in my plate to match the quantity of rice provided, Definitely recommend this place!
The deli items kept in their warming oven were not warm enough. The pakoras were really crispy & overbattered. Both my son & I felt sick after eating them.
Had a bad experience. Went here to order hot chat with no extra onions and they served it cold with onions. I asked them to remake it and they said that was the last plate at 7 PM. Then they gave me frozen idli that was improperly heated, as replacement for the chat. Never coming back.
Grocery selections are good. The 2 stars are for them.
One of the place to buy Indian grocery in Beaverton / Hillsboro area. Costs are not that cheap and some of the Indian items [like ParleG or Atta] can be purchased from near by Walmart store across the street.
Good Indian market place.
All types of Indian groceries, vegetables, snacks, readymade foods and masala available here.
Having one small attached restaurant and are serving both veg and non veg snacks, Biriyani, chats, and south Indian Tiffins like idli, dosa etc.
All types of Indian sweets are also available here and the service here is very good and fast.
