Applebee's Grill + Bar, Springfield OR

I was given a $10 gift certificate to my surprise because 2 of the items i was requesting they no longer carried but was not stated on the menu when i ordered online.

Very unprofessional staff! My husband and daughter went in around 7pm on 3.25.2021. The hostess said it would be an hour wait so we decided to leave. We saw another group with the same amount of people (3) go in and get instantly seated. I walked back in and asked if they were taking reservations as I was assuming that’s they reason they denied the table for us but gave it to another group. She said no- that’s the manager and their family so they get seated first! I was very shocked. I said so paying customers get turned away but the manager gets sat? That’s beyond ridiculous- a true manager should do what’s best for the company- and let customers eat! Will not be back!

Hostess was rude and placed us outside in the rain.
Waitress was very helpful and delightful would recommend her anywhere.
Would suggest to have somewhere outside out of the weather for older adults to wait outside under some type of cover.

I should first state that this location chooses to display an "Open Late" sign in their window. We arrived around 10ish and was told there would be a 20min wait. The greeter was then told to not accept any more guests, as covid regulations wouldn't allow them to have guests after 11pm. The wait was shorter than expected to be called (or texted) in to be seated. So with this short of a time-frame, you'd expect that the staff would want to promptly take our order and get us served in a timely manner, so we can be on our way and comply with Kate Brown's executive orders. But this was not the case. The majority of the limited time we had left was spent waiting for our assigned server to take our order (20-30 minutes). After we finally got our food we were almost immediately brought to-go boxes and told we would have to leave soon. This was very disappointing considering most of their staff was standing around chit-chating while we were made to wait nearly a half hour before we could even order. I would have rather been rejected at the door than sit in their parking lot and booth table for nearly an hour, just to be rushed out not even 5 minutes after being served food.

Would have given a 5 star but their Perfect Margarita is no longer Perfect. Don know what they changed but it's not good, so probably won't go there anymore unless we here they've gone back to their old recipe. Food is good at both locations, Gateway and W. 11th, but Half the reason we went there was the Perfect Margarita. No more

The staff have been really responsive, friendly, and helpful. The food and drinks have always been delicious. This is a good place to go to for a relaxing and fun time.

Great place it's the first date place for us after 1 1/2 years. Best steak and all you can eat shrimp. Service is above and beyond.

Even during the Holidays the staff are always awesome, the food is great, and the place is clean. A little kindness can go a long way, don't be rude to waitressing staff, they have rough jobs and have to work long shifts.

I ordered all you can eat shrimp and I paid early to show I wasn't going to dine and dash. I asked for a 2nd serving and the manager said that I couldn't get one because my order was closed. I only went there because I got a gift card for Xmas. I had a terrible experience at the restaurant on W. 11th Eugene a couple of years ago as well. I've never had a problem at Hometown Buffet in gateway. Stay away from Applebee's.

The honey BBQ bonless are amazing. Would love. More of them! Servers are friendly and quick with refills and drinks. Very hospitable! Especially because is christmas Eve! My
faith in humanity is restored! Love commingto springfeild

Applebee's has really improved their menu in the last few years. They now have some healthy options and give you the calorie count for everything on the menu. I had the cedar salmon and it was very good, not over cooked or bland. The waitress did spill a glass of water on me but then she gave us a free dessert, so I can't complain. One of the better chain restaurants in Springfield.

Great service. Friendly staff, has the delicious food that you can always expect from this franchise location and any other location they have. Wonderful atmosphere. I recommend anything with beef and/or shrimp. Come on, let's be real it's an Applebee's - therefore it gets a 5/5 stars for the win. It's affordable and has an awesome selection on their menu, plus twenty one and over with a valid ID, alcoholic beverage options. ;)

Food was good. Drink refills were very slow as was the food. I could understand if they were busy however, this visit there were many empty tables.

My wife and i have gone to this location 2 or 3 times and have had up and downs here. Last time will seal the deal with us no longer returning. We both got a case of food poisoning and in the case of my wofe having you up all night runing in and out of the bathroom.

My daughter and I went for our girls evening out. We did the " 2 for $27.00 " ordeal. Her eyes were bigger than her stomach! Food was good but our server, Jacob, was better. Total sweet heart! We had a lot of fun and really enjoyed it!

Our food was delicious and our server, PJ, was excellent.very attentive, friendly and great attitude.

Food was tasty but kitchen was slow in prep and service was poor. We have eaten there before and it was good. It may have been an off night.

This is a frequent quick drinks and food spot since it's right down the road. Their customer service is usually up to par! Their food hits the spot and we always go home with left overs!

AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS! WONDERFUL STAFF! FAST! HOT! THEY ALSO DO THE COOKING AND CLEAN UP! The perfect end to a long day.

The food was so-so. Service also so-so. We drove from West Eugene because we heard this Applebees was so much better. Not so. Doubt we will be returning.
